We stayed at the Goldwynn in Nassau before boarding our liveaboard, and it was one of the most relaxing hotel stays we’ve had in the Bahamas.
Unlike the big resort properties, the Goldwynn feels calm, intimate, and refined. The beach is peaceful and never crowded, and the infinity pool overlooking the ocean is a perfect place to decompress after traveling. It feels much more like a boutique luxury hotel than a cruise-ship terminal on land.
Our room was beautifully designed, spotless, and very comfortable, with great ocean views. The whole property has a modern, understated elegance that makes it easy to relax the moment you arrive.
Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Everything just worked, which after a long travel day really matters.
If you want a quiet, upscale, oceanfront stay in Nassau that feels far removed from the chaos of downtown or Paradise Island, Goldwynn is an excellent choice.
