"I arrived in the later afternoon and was very courteously and efficiently assisted by the evening staff. I was also impressed with the overall cleanliness of the room and the hotel generally. Plus having covered, overnight parking was greatly appreciated!"

"This was a very utilitarian old school drive-up motel. The room wasn't fancy, but it was clean and functional. We were happy that the ice machine worked well. The location turned out to be good for us. The parking lot was a little challenging, but we quickly figured out it was best to park in the open area on the far left side."

"We really liked this location. The rooms are clean, with air conditioning (there was a heater for fall or winter) and a ceiling fan with light. Also snacks & drinks for sale. There is a small elevator (2 person at most with luggage or maybe 3 without.) There are stairs also. I don't think this hotel is handicap accessible, there are stairs to get down into the lobby and the check-in desk. The staff were very friendly, even at 5am checkout. Very walkable area not far from Wrigley Field and local restaurants. All in all we like this hotel. This was our 2nd stay."

"Loved this home in Rogers Park! We came from a recommendation from a friend that stayed with their family last summer and it lived up to the hype! Had tons of space, and a fully stocked kitchen. I was also glad the dinning area and living room had ample seating. Sometimes a place will sleep 8 or so, but only had dinning and living room space for half that. Also had an office space in the front room, that connected via doorway to the living room and one of the bedrooms which was very handy. We enjoyed a quick walk to the beach, Leone and Loyola, and the little bluebird cafe was great for casual food for our family. There was also a great playground next to the cafe. We traveled with our 13 and 9 year old and also meet up with their cousins ( 6 and 15 months) and the beach/playground situation was great! The front porch was also a favorite place to hang! Getting downtown was a bit of ordeal, but we knew it would be. From our experience, that’s just Chicago. If you want to spend a lot of time downtown, a hotel right downtown would be the way to go, but if you want a roomy place to spread out, enjoy the beach, and be a quick drive to places like Andersonville for the shops and restaurants, this was a great homebase!"

"This was a lovely comfortable place to stay. The host was kind and helpful. There was a variety of items for breakfast and snacks. Coffee was brewed early in the morning! Yes, I would stay here again. If you want a property near Andersonville, this is the place."

Great Location-Beautiful Friendly Andersonville Neighborhood

"Host is very particular and honestly gave me a ton of anxiety with his list of dos and don’ts. It didn’t help that right away he questioned my kids’ ages and expressed that he didn’t want noise. I was particularly looking for a place that had parking as we drove from a couple of states away and picked this location as it listed parking. There is no dedicated parking - it is on the street. This is explained in the listing once you really read the fine print, but I was super irritated when I found it after I was far past cancellation. All that aside - the stay was great. Honestly, the extra detail in the dos and don’ts translated to a clean and comfortable stay. Parking was pretty difficult a couple of nights because of a lot of tow zones being posted, but we always found a place on the street. Area is awesome - walkable with great restaurants close by and a very easy drive to Montrose beach and downtown. We had no issues navigating by car."
