"What a beautiful room with incredible views. Clean, comfortable with everything you need for a night away. All rooms are adjacent to the pub in a separate building. Opening French doors give a wonderful view. We ate at the pub and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We'll definitely be back!"

"Highly recommended. Faultless. The staff deserve a special mention as they are excellent in all respects. An example is Carol who warmly greets you at breakfast and is a joy. Both breakfast and dinner were very good and the bar and terrace area is spacious with fantastic west facing views. The hotel is spectacularly located high up above the Wye Valley with a wide panorama. Many of the bedrooms benefit from these wonderful views. A great place to stay for exploring this beautiful area."
"Good value for money.
The room was clean
The reception staff were friendly & helpful
Some chips on furniture in the room but this doesn't effect your stay"
"Great hotel, easy to park and room was really nice. No air con but there was a fan provided. Unfortunately tv did not work or the telephone. Receptionist said they were unaware and it couldn’t be fixed but offered access to the spa and drinks. However I already had access & had bought drinks in the spa. Spa would be very busy with day guests in the day. Breakfast was great and great choice available. "
"Comfortable and well equipped room with air conditioning a particular benefit during the heat wave! Overall quality of service and food did not match the price level which was expensive for what was provided. In particular the additional charge for certain breakfast items, even though on a bed & breakfast rate was excessive. Service, though, was excellent including finding and keeping items we inadvertently left in the hotel room."
"What a wonderful place! So pretty and quaint and so much to do even if it’s just sitting in a deckchair on the terrace just admiring the view or talking a walk around the grounds! Such a peaceful stay will definitely be back!"
"Breakfast very poor both days
Closed the outside seating area (30d) and restaurant for a private party, they should think about the people staying in hotel o they did not.
Check out, come down stairs to reception you could not move for people and also outside on pavement.
+ Room was excellent plus the Bar staff was excellent."
"As I have an immune disorder which means there are certain foods I can't eat I am always cautious when staying at a place for the first time, I have to say I had no reason to be as the staff were very reassuring and helpful, pointing out any possible triggers and reassuring me that what I eat was safe
The room was clean as in hoovering, dusting and cleaning the bathroom but there were a couple of issues like skirting boards could do with a clean along with the windows in fact when the sun was on a certain angle you could see where someone had doodled on the window, nothing rude btw :-)"
