"Check in was smooth and We immediately felt welcomed. We stayed in the superior family room and it was amazing, very spacious and very clean. Our teens loved the fact that they had their own space while we loved our separate bedroom! Breakfast the next morning was another highlight, delicious food and friendly service. We will certainly stay again."

"We only stayed here for one night, on our way back to Belfast to return home from our tour of Ireland. The hotel looked a bit rundown from the outside, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a large, bright reception area and a welcoming receptionist. Our room was ready, so she let us check in an hour early and we went to have a look at our room. We were surprised, after opening the door, to find 2 steps in front of us, leading up to a spacious, modern room. Everything was clean and fresh and the room and bathroom were well equipped, although the shower was more of a trickle. The bar was well stocked and had live music on the night we were there. The restaurant menu looked a bit 'pub grub-y', so we decided to eat out. All in all, a nice hotel which we would be perfectly happy to recommend to other guests."

"check in process really easy, room really lovely - clean smell from moment you walked in, comfortable bed, really friendly staff - particularly the staff in the restaurant on the Friday evening and at breakfast on Saturday. Quality of food and ample car parking space."

"The staff were so friendly. The room was big and comfy The breakfast was of good quality It was so quiet The food was excellent I would definitely stay again. Only minor complaint was the lift was very dirty"

"The room was beautifully decorated. Had a lovely lake view. Breakfast was amazing. We used the spa. There are dressing gown and slippers in room. We had an evening meal which was delicious. There is plenty of parking. The views at the hotel are amazing. We will be back soon."

"We only found Cavanans by accident, but we’re so glad we did. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We particularly liked that they could be accessed from both the internal corridor and the courtyard, making it incredibly easy to pull the car right up outside the room to unload and load luggage. The hotel has its own bar and restaurant, and both were excellent. The food was delicious, and the breakfast was amazing and very reasonably priced. What really made our stay stand out was the staff. Every member of staff we met was friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful from the moment we arrived. The hotel was very well staffed, so there was never any waiting for service, and nothing was too much trouble. We had a fantastic stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cavanans to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly place to stay. We will definitely be back."

Hilltop View by Escape Ordinary

"We had a fantastic stay at Hilltop; the perfect setting to get family together who wouldn’t normally fit in one house. The house was clean, full equipped and despite being very spacious, felt cosy. The kitchen is well equipped, the living room has plenty of seating, the outside space is huge and the beds are very comfortable, with varying firmnesses of mattress. We didn’t have enough towels for people, but I think this was just an oversight. Ice cube trays would be a useful addition (already filled for that extra touch). Check in and check out we’re easy. Make sure you plan a time for a relaxing bath in the giant tub."
