Lookout Mtn View! STEAM Shower, Fenced Yard 🐶⛰️

Welcome to our recently renovated, dog-friendly home with fantastic views of Lookout Mountain! This is our personal home which we live in during the winter and offer as a VRBO throughout the rest of the year! The house is fully stocked, decorated with love and ready to go for your stay!

Location:
~20 min from downtown Chattanooga
~10 min to St.Elmo
~8 min to Chickamauga!

We know this area / Chattanooga very well and are happy to give you recommendations for your stay!

ABOUT THE HOME:

The home went through a complete renovation including new windows, basement refinish, landscaping and a NEW 3rd bathroom with STEAM SHOWER.

We love the natural MCM look of the 1960s rancher and chose to lean into the uniqueness - by keeping the original green bathroom tiles and beadboard basement.

This home is spacious for multiple couples, children and pets.

The 2nd floor
-Includes 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. 1 bathroom is en-suite to the primary bedroom, and 1 bathroom is off of the main hallway. This floor walks out to the amazing back-deck with a view of Lookout Mountain. The back-deck faces West so guests can see the most amazing sunsets. In the morning, you can enjoy your coffee/tea listening to the birds. Deck includes two layout chairs, a 4-top metal table set with umbrella and two stackable chairs, a gas grill, chimenea, and stocked with firewood on the first floor.

The 1st floor
-Completely finished partial basement which walks-outside to the fenced back yard / dog run. This floor includes the largest 4th bedroom (this bedroom does not have a window), and an entertainment room that has 3 separate beds (futon, twin trundle) - perfect for kids or a group of friends.
-This floor includes a brand new 3rd full bathroom with walk in, steam shower
Extras
-Most rooms include a Smart TV and bathrooms include Bluetooth speakers within the ceiling fan!

-The house is on a water filtration system meaning all of the sink and shower water is completely filtered! No water bottles needed here.

-The garage is huge and includes a full laundry area with stain stick, detergent, dryer sheets - everything you may need.

-Easy check-in and check-out process with a Smart Lock.

-We have dogs and understand how hard it can be to book a VRBO that is dog friendly! The home is optimized to make it easy for those traveling with their dogs. We include 2 pet gates, eating & drinking bowls and dog friendly blankets. We charge $60 per dog. We are flexible on the amount of dogs (because we are dog lovers) please just reach out in advance. *Please note sometimes our internet can be spotty downstairs since we are up in the mountains. The internet upstairs however is always strong and reliable*

Our family of nine enjoyed a brief but wonderful stay at this beautiful property. We loved the view and found the kitchen and bathrooms easy to work with for our large party. We even all sat at the same table for meals! The location is quiet and serene but easy distance to shopping and downtown. Thanks, Erika!

Great rental close to Chattanooga

We stayed for a long weekend with the family to visit Chattanooga. It was perfect for us and the kids & dogs, too. We really enjoyed the scenery, the space was great, the place was clean & had everything we needed. They even setup a scavenger hunt for the kids! Hosts were very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend staying here!

Excellent property!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is easy to find, check-in/out directions are clear, fast (and friendly) response time from the host, super clean. We found everything we needed in the house. The beds are comfortable. Very close to wonderful hiking and historic battlefield locations. Would stay here again if I was in the area.

Great Stay

The home is perfect for a family gathering. The decor is very nice. The kitchen is well equipped. The deck was really nice for watching the sunset. Its a great location for visiting Chattanooga and local parks.

Home-Away-From-Home

This home was a perfect place to stay to host our daughter’s graduation from Covenant College along with family joining us from 4 other states! The bedrooms & bathrooms were pristine & comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked. This home provided us everything we needed to be comfortable & more. Erika, our host, gave recommendations that were all excellent! The location is on a quiet street with a lovely back deck view. We’d eagerly stay here again & hope to return soon!

Wonderful stay near Lookout Mountain

Such a wonderful home to stay in. The scavenger hunt set up by our host was so much fun for not only our Grandchildren but a challenge for us adults. Very close to everything like Aquarium and Ruby Falls. We would highly recommend. Thanks you Erica.

Cozy & Cute with a beautiful view

We came I got won for a tournament and both sets of grandparents met us there. There was plenty of room for everyone and everything we needed. Erika communicated well and we had no issues getting in for our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

This place was great! There was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was large and easy to move around in. The beds were very comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet. A neighbor came across the street and helped me with the front door when I couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t open. This cozy house had plenty of comforts. This was a very special trip for us as my husband had previously been a patient at Siskin and wanted to go back to thank those who cared for him during his 4-month stay there. We went to the zoo and thoroughly enjoyed it. The host was the best host ever, instantly answering any questions. The view was just as beautiful as described! There is so much to do in Chattanooga, but we didn’t have time to do everything. We did enough for this trip. Having my husband be able to experience it with us was the best part!

Property better than described! Absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful but clean we enough to attractions! Owner communicated very well! Provided pack and play for infant grandbaby. Scavenger hunt left for others that they enjoy very much. Just all around great stay!!

Thanksgiving 2023

House was perfect for our family and within 10 minutes to our relatives. It was well stocked as we did a lot of cooking. We traveled with 2 little fur babies and the fence area for them was a bonus. The owner was super nice and responds quickly to any questions. We definitely would rent again.

Perfect for our family reunion!

Just like the photos, clean, very comfortable and big enough for family reunion of 7. Kitchen was well appointed. Sunset on the deck was gorgeous! Short drive to Chattanooga. I didn’t need anything while we were there, but the owner was quick to respond to a couple of pre-trip questions. Seamless check in and out. Just perfect. We’ll be back!

Wonderful wedding weekend

Our daughter was getting married in the GA mountains and I rented this house for us for the weekend. The place is simply lovely. It still has a lot of the 50s charm of when the house was likely built, but many updates to make it modern. Plenty of bedrooms for all the extended family to stay in one place. We have two little Dachshunds, and the house is very dog friendly, even supplying dog gates and blankets. The owner Erika was great to communicate with. She was very prompt with a response to any question I had. I would highly recommend this house if you need to be in the area!

Wonderful Booking

We had an amazing stay at this property. There were 8 of us total and there was plenty of room for everyone. They have very sweet and friendly neighbors and the property itself was well stocked and beautiful. The housekeeper knew we had smaller children with us and even set up a scavenger hunt for them which they loved. Communication with the owners was prompt and thorough. They checked on us after we arrived to make sure that everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this property if you are staying in the are. It was one of the best homes we have ever rented. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Has everything you need!

We stayed here for a wedding in town. There were 6 of us, including 2 kids. We originally were to bring the dogs as they were part of the wedding, but they ended up staying with the bride and groom. Erika was so very helpful with our change of plans and so responsive! This home was very comfortable, with more than enough space for us. The steam shower was a nice added bonus. We spent our evenings relaxing on the deck and enjoying the view. The house was also equipped with everything to make our stay easy- from kitchen gadgets to ironing board. Plenty of towels! Highly recommend.
