"We had a terrible experience. We went to check in for our reserved room at Hotel La Noire. at 3:00 pm . After signing in and paying the city tax, the reservation clerk told us our room was not at the property.. She had a key, led us out the front door , across the canal to a different street in a seedy neighborhood to a building with a pizza parlor underneath where she pointed our room would be. We said that was not what we agreed to, showed her our reservation on the Expedia site,with the...

"The Polderhuis Bed & Breakfast exceeds expectations in every regard. The property is very stately and well kept in a great location across from a park. The owner and family members were very friendly and provided great service. Our room was very clean, large and comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing, featuring simple and tasty local foods. Our 3 day stay here will be one of the highlights of our 2 week visit to the Netherlands!"

Self serve laundry facility only had 2 sets of washer/dryers, no detergents dispensers available (must bring own). Always fully used, since hotel also house government sponsored long-term stay families with children (like public housing). "
