"Very clean room, comfortable and spacious. Reception is slightly tight with long queues but expected given hotel right next to airport terminal. Staffs are very friendly, attentive and helpful. Breakfast is amazing, vast different options including cooked to order. Beautiful dining area. Bar is great, right opposite check in area and offering options for drinks. Best point got to be the distance to airport terminal. Literary 5-10mins walk to South Terminal and 20mins walk (including free train) to North Terminal. Would recommend people who are catching early flights or arriving late to airport. "

"Stayed at Bloc Hotel — really impressed. Super clean, modern rooms with a very comfortable bed. Smart use of space and everything you need for a short stay. Check-in was quick and easy, and the location was spot on. Great value for money, would definitely stay again."

"The reception staff are great. The location being in Gatwick is terrific of course, convenient for the airport and trains. The amenities are clean and comfortable however dinner service let the hotel down. No shortage of staff it seemed but totally disorganised the night we were there. Guests were asking for menus, following up on drinks, food and dinners. My husband finally received a dessert he was waiting for only to have another brought to the room long after we left the dining room. It seemed like disorganised chaos. The hotel if they rectify training and ensure some procedures in place in the dining room will nail it."

"We had a great stay, food is basically as are the rooms, we were upgraded to executive but nothing executive about it compared to others. Staff were great"

"Overall we had a lovely stay. Only complaint was that we were cold in the evenings…it was less than 10° outside and the bar had air-conditioning on! We got really cold. The restaurant was also cold, so we only ate there the first night. The food was good, spoilt only by my poached eggs being cool the first day, and when I asked for them to be hot the second morning, they were only just warm! Otherwise a lovely breakfast. Shower very good, and plenty of hot water for baths to warm us up!"

"While the hotel itself was good the experience with the staff was awful. We had 10 rooms and many, many issues over 3 days that could/should have been easily avoided. A lack of good CX skills, empathy and willingness to address simple things made for a very poor experience. I would not recommend this hotel unfortunately."
