"The property owner was very unresponsive. It was missing a few important amenities, which we then purchased under our own cost. Although the owner promised that we will be reimbursed for the cost, no actual reimbursement was given. There were water leakage in multiple spot which the owner failed to provide any solutions on. "Pool was dirty every day rooms were infested with ants rooms were clean but needed much repair and updating staff would be the only reason we would ever come back the owner needs to focus more on the whole resort now that his new suit on the roof is built which is the only new part of the resort also the so called beach club that was promised when we booked our trip was closed due to repairs needed the whole 2 weeks we were there."

"Our group had 3 rooms. When we arrived, one room was on the far side of the complex. When we realized, we requested if there was a room closer to the other 2. We were told it was possible, but it would take a little time. We headed to dinner, and the keys were delivered to us in the dining room! EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!!! I reached out to concierge prior to arrival to book transportation to and from hotel. Our flight was delayed and transportation was ready when we arrived! "

"At checkin we were not given any information on where food was to be found and that it was only on a limited time schedule. All-inclusive is a waste at this hotel as food is not always available and not everything in the bar is included. Food is subpar at the buffet and many times we were not offered drinks and had to find them ourselves. We still tipped the staff and the housekeeping was great at cleaning the room daily. But there is really no entertainment so we went into town for live music."

"We had a great stay at the Blue Angel Dive resort. It was my 1st dive resort adventure as a new diver and they made me feel very comfortable and supported the whole time. It was wonderful having the restaurant on-site (with breakfast included -Bonus!). All the staff were great, especially Carlos & Rigel in the restaurant. Dive shop & boat folks were phenomenal! Dona Mary & Alfredo kept things on track & flowing. Ana took special care of me as I was a new diver & kinda freaked out at one point, but she reassured me while under the water & we finished strong & well. Hanging out at the resort was pleasant & relaxing. The pool was open and available til later in the evening and there was even really good live music several of the nights. No need to go anywhere else. Eva the owner was an added treat, very personable and kind. She definitely loves the place! I'm looking forward to my next trip back. It's not a "fancy" place, feels more like family & laid back. I really enjoyed it! The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious. They supplied both shower & pool towels."

Villablanca Garden Beach Hotel

"If you are traveling on a budget, it’s an okay hotel. One thing it has is the access to the small beach (400 Feet away) but the beach isn’t maintained well and has some trash but is totally doable. My major complaint was the plumbing (toilet and shower) clogged constantly and overflowed while showering. Second complaint is the “bottled water service” they give you 1 regular sized bottle of water per person and you have to walk to the front desk with the empty bottle to ask them to refill it… yeah. The tap water on the island is not drinkable, so unless you go to the store and buy drinks (a taxi ride and carry all back to hotel) you will need the water service. This one issue takes a lot of time and makes zero sense. They could easily install a one gallon , refillable Culligan style water dispenser with cups and it makes no trash or waste. Very simple. I’ve stayed here two times about 10 years apart (2015/2026) and I’ll go somewhere new next time. I just don’t want to ask for a refil with my crusty water bottle or stand in a shower with 3 inches of water and who knows what floating around. "
