This is our second stay as we love this place. Beautiful setting and accommodation is perfect. Everything that you need is available for a comfortable stay. Perfection.
Sheila has an absolute bonny property here and it was lovely staying here. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a quiet location with easy access to North West
The property is lovely , it is quite remote but suited us!Lots of wildlife around which was lovely.Very comfortable chalet with everything you need for a great stay.
Accomodation is good, well equiped, cleaned and comfortable.
The perfect place to have some rest in the middle of nature,
Sheila is always free to answer us
We recommend ,
Thanks Sheila
Amazing location right at the end of a glen, perfect for peace and quiet. We left the car at the property and did some local walks, also close enough to be able to explore the area if you wish to do so. Cozy and warm, everything you need for self catering, amazing skies on a clear night.

Peaceful
The cabin had everything we needed, ideal for anyone who wants to get away an enjoy the rolling landscape of Scotland
The cabin was everything we needed. Clean and extremely well stocked. The cabin is in a stunning rural location and perfect if you want to get away from it all. Shops not to far away and an excellent central location for Fort William, Avimore, Fort Augustus and Loch Ness.
Before our stay we had very swift and clear communication about our questions and instructions how to get to the chalet.
The chalet itself is somewhat outdated but well enough accommodated for a small family to stay for a week.
The chalet is very secluded but provides a nice location to scout the attractions within 1,5 hours drive. With Tesla superchargers in Fort William even driving an EV was no problem.
We had a wonderful time at the Scottish cottage – the property is truly unique. It’s a beautiful and secluded spot surrounded by nature. The cottage is fully equipped and offers stunning views of the surrounding trees. Sheila is a charming and helpful host who was always available whenever we needed anything. We would absolutely recommend this cottage and would love to come back someday!
We loved the cabin, and Sheila was so welcoming and kind. The only tiny thing I would change is the water pressure of the shower. The bath was excellent though 3
Beautiful situated, quiet and peaceful. If you like wildlife there are birds ,deer and pine martins.lovely lodge, fully equipped and owner is a lovely person.
It was such a lovely place to stay, and well prepared for us . Thank you

Fantastic holiday
I stayed here with my girlfriend over New Year's - it was a beautiful cozy lodge surrounded by some amazing scenery, and the sauna was good to have after being out in the cold! Sheila was lovely and could not have been more accommodating, a great host.
Would definitely come back again, highly recommended.
When you love silence and nature in a secluded part of Scottish nature this log cabin is a good choice. But don't forget repellent when it is midges season!
A hidden gem, well off the beaten track. Wake in the morning to the sound of a nearby waterfall. Discover wild deer grazing outside your window. Come here for the peace and quiet, or for ready access to outdoor pursuits in Fort William, or both. It's lovely.

Superb Lodge
This lodge is in the middle of a wooded area and is truly a secret wee hideaway. It is a lovely cosy lodge and it has every appliance and utensil one can imagine! The appliances and utensils are all first class quality. Comfy beds and good quality linen all provided too. Lovely walks on the doorstep and complete privacy and peacefulness - a joy! Lots of lovely locations just a short drive away! My husband, our dog Poppy and I really loved this wee treasure! Very reasonably priced indeed! Thank so much!

cute and homely
Log cabin was situated off the beaten track. Just what the doctor ordered! Fabulous location in a lovely log cabin that was set up to live in, not just holiday. Sheila is a wonderful and approachable owner and if you have any problems, she will always do her best to help. Would recommend this log cabin to anyone wishing to get off the beaten track. Great for exploring, Fort William, Fort Augustus (Loch Ness) and Ben Nevis.
Home from home and can't wait to go back. Did not want to leave!!!

It was great (but)
When we arrived we were told the water was conternitate and would have to use bottled water for drinking and brushing teeth. In the small room there was a damp problem which was very mouldy and smelly,in the double room there was a very bad smell of damp which was making sleeping and breathing very difficult.
Even with these issue sheila did her best to make our stay great to which it was,she cleaned the cabin rooms as much as she could and compensated us with free electric. The question would i stay again (YES) is the answer thanks Sheila for everything great place to stay,oh yes thanks for the wifi you had fitted it make the nights better when you have teenage daughter.Without the issues above the stay would have been perfect
