It is suitable for individuals and families looking for a self catering type of accommodation. The district boasts of 32 creator lakes including 3 sets of twin lakes and a transparent lake. Activities include game drives, boat cruising on kazinga Channel that joins lake Edward and lake George located in the national park, birding, Chimpanzee tracking tracking, hike the Ruwenzori mountain, nature walk, etc
