Lo que menos me ha gustado, ha sido la ubicación de la piscina pequeña, y los contenedores para la basura, que nos hemos venido y no los hemos encontrado. Por lo demás todo genial. "Pros: Stunning! Just finished a fabulous two week stay here and was sad to leave. Beautiful views, quiet, clean and a lovely well equipped living space with easy access to restaurants, stores in Salobreña and Almñécar. The heated pool was well maintained and worth the additional cost. Lots of outdoor space for sitting out/eating, allowing for sun or if you prefer shaded. "Pros: We (4 adults) stayed 2 weeks in villa Andaluza in Almunecar in October. We enjoyed our stay in this house very much. You can have breakfast and dinner outside while watching the Mediterranean Sea. You can even walk down to the beach which is only a ten minutes walk and you will find a nice beach with only few people. The house itself was very well equipped with everything one needs, the owners were friendly and easygoing. We can highly recommend this place."

10/10 Excellent

"Above all, I only need a hotel to be clean, with a comfortable bed and decent bathroom facilities This hotel was all that and more. I didn’t use any other of the facilities so can’t comment. A relatively small, modern hotel, just off the beach. Quite simply, I thought it was excellent."

Elba Motril Beach & Business Resort

"I stayed at Hotel Elba in Motril for a weekend and had a very pleasant experience. The room was spotless and had a lovely balcony with views of the beach. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was included in the price and offered a good variety of foods and drinks, with plenty of options to suit different tastes. The hotel also has both indoor and outdoor pools, though I didn’t get the chance to use them, so I can’t comment on those facilities. Parking cost €7 per day, which I found reasonable for the area. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. However, the sound insulation is a bit of an issue as you can hear people speaking in the next room but I would definitely choose Hotel Elba again for a future visit to Motril."

"Parking was difficult, I think as it was a Sunday afternoon when we arrived. We later managed to move our car nearer to the hotel. Room was pleasant with view of the castle to the rear. It did get a little noisy when they emptied the bins but quiet other than that. Breakfast is brought to your table. Nice choice of fruit, yoghurt, toast with eggs, or tostada with tomatoes, tuna, ham, jams, fruit juice and coffee. We enjoyed exploring the front, the Péñedes de San Cristóbal, the Castle de San Miguel (beware it’s closed on Mondays) the Parque de Majuelo and the Tourist Information building. The corner promenade was being refurbished but looking forward to a return visit to see it completed in the future."

"Just returned from a weeks hols in October 2025, just my and son and a I. Hotels remote, but beautiful. In fairness it was better than good, very good even, just not quite 5 stars. Not many brits here, good or bad make your own mind up. But I would recommend learning sone spanish. Its definitely alpreciated. Buffet food was good, plenty to choose. And plenty of booze too. Would defo recommend to families, couples and anyone else for that matter. To the staff thank you for working hard. And to the 2 pensioners scrapping in the bingo hall. Naughty boys!! "
