"Hidden gem in Nottingham city centre. Very central location, yet still managed to be very quiet. It’s the first time I’ve ever been able to open a window in a city centre hotel without being disturbed by the noise. Staff were helpful and friendly. Restaurant and bar area is a lovely spot to unwind. Breakfast was plentiful and sourced fresh from local suppliers. 10/10 all round."

"The room was clean and bed comfy. BBC tv coverage bad. Bathroom needs upgrading. Room 115. Breakfast good but chaotic - there was not enough info on ordering various items and what order to move around the various item tables. Finding staff to take order not easy. Staff were v pleasant. Reception staff excellent Didn’t use any spa facilities so can’t comment. Overall impression that the whole building needs attention. Very good position for Chesterfield."
