Great cabin. Well maintained. Beautiful views. Hot tub was ready and clean. Turkeys and deer passlng through the yard daily. Easy access to great 7 mile hikes. Really enjoyed our stay. No joke about steep road to get up the hill. 5 minutes from "downtown".
This was our first visit to Ruidoso. The weather was a roller coaster but we were very pleased and comfortable with the property. The kitchen was well prepared and the beds were comfortable. The hot tub was great too.
Our family enjoyed this gorgeous and intimate setting in the woods. It was great escape from the city. It was a much needed and enjoyable vacation. Thank you for allowing our family to visit and privately honor the memory of our Son, Brother and Uncle!!
House was just as listed. Everything worked great. The hot tub was the best
With the cold temperatures during our stay. Clean, up to date and awesome views. Will stay again soon.
You will not be disappointed with this cabins lovely views from the front porch & the cozy feel of the home. The pictures do not do justice to how lovely this home is. It had all we needed and a very comfy master bed. Deer all around everyday. I thoroughly enjoyed the woodpeckers, hummingbirds while sipping coffee. Weather was perfect. We would stay here again. BTW, it's best to have a 4wheel drive because the roads in are steep.
Our Fall vacation in Ruidoso was just perfect! The Cabin on the Mountain was even better than we expected. The location literally was on top of a mountain so the views were incredible. We enjoyed the deer coming to visit the back deck each morning and evening. We hiked the Grindstone Lake trail and the Ruidoso River Trail. We saw so many elk in and around town as well as mule deer and wild turkeys. The cabin was immaculate, comfortable furnishings and nicely decorated and had a well stocked kitchen. We loved the large hot tub and star gazing from the back deck. Plenty of great shopping and restaurants in town as well. The Land of Enchantment never disappoints!
We had a great relaxing time! Cabin at top of mountain away from town noise, great front porch to sit and drink coffee, watch hummingbirds and listen to breeze blow top of trees below! Furniture very comfortable and felt like home. Our chihuahua felt right at home also. Thank you for a great vacation (stayed 5 nights)
This place was amazing ,very peaceful, clean relaxing. Everything we were wanting plus some. Highly recommendThe views were spectacular and frequent visits from wildlife!!! We will be back
