The property exceeded our expectations and the view was unmatched. We enjoyed cooking, hiking, shopping downtown and watching all the wildlife from the decks. Deer and wild turkeys were frequent visitors. It was a great relaxing stay.
Great woodsy property with beautiful views and a plethora of wildlife!!!
Our whole family had a great stay at this beautiful home. Between the wildlife, views, cabin layout, and cleanliness, we will definitely be renting this home again. The hot-tub was a great place to relax. 5 STARS!!!!
Absolutely love the area as we had never been there or heard of Ruidoso for that matter. The town has great shops and you can spend the day there. We also went site seeing and hiking. Saw elk, mule deer and wild horses while on our stay. And the weather… Weather was amazing!
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The view from the front porch and balcony was absolutely beautiful. We would definitely stay at this property again. Only comment I would make about this property is if you have any issue with bringing luggage up multiple flights of stairs this may not be the property for you.
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The house is up in the mountain enough to have a gorgeous view and close enough to town in case you need to run and get something. The cabin was clean and as described. Loved all the wildlife and just sitting on the deck and enjoying the view.
Property was nice and beautiful view. Minor recommendations- new screen doors and leave salt for guests to de-ice the stairs, let guests use the fireplace in the bedroom, and add board games.
Stayed for a few days for our daughter's bday. An hour to white sands national park!
Welcoming house. Sisters enjoyed quiet time together. Card games and visiting. Racing was sad to watch flooding and cancellations. Ruidoso village fires and floods are heartbreaking but we felt thankful to be in cabin above the turmoil. Enjoyed the views from deck
The property was clean and roomy. The TV had previously set parental controls, so movies above PG could not be watched and the dishwasher flap on the inside was broken and would not hold the pod. No water for about 6 hours. The view was great. Turkeys and deer were numerous. Restaurants were close by as well.
House and views were great. Especially loved the main level deck that wrapped around to the fenced backyard so that my kids could play safely.
Would highly recommend. Please keep in mind that there are a number of stairs - if that doesn’t work for you and your group this might not be the place for you. The railing on the inside stairs was a bit wider than I liked with my curious 1 year old so we kept that blocked off when he was roaming (no issues for my almost 3 y/o).
The cabin itself is fantastic. The views are MUCH better than what you see in the listing photos! It's smaller than expected, but the cabin is great choice. The major flaws are the beds are awful, and very, very old. In one guest room you can feel the inner springs and in the master there are two very noticeable caved in spots, so that was disappointing. The oven also would not turn off, so maintenance had to come shut it off at the breaker...I'd suggest a call ahead to Hummingbird to make sure the oven works or you'll waste space and money bringing food to cook (apparently, the oven has been a problem in the past and they thought it was solved). Overall, a solid place if they address the beds and oven.
King Arthur’s Castle was a lovely place to stay — clean, comfortable, and perfect for our group of six. The views are absolutely amazing, and the amenities made everything easy and enjoyable. It truly felt like a special getaway. Two things worth noting: there are quite a few stairs to access the house, so pack accordingly, and the upstairs master is huge and beautiful but loft-style, so it does not have a door for full privacy. We would definitely return and highly recommend it!

We had a family skiing trip for 3 days. We booked this place because the veiw and it had a hot tub to relax after skiing but found the hot tub didn't work wicth was a big reason why we booked this place.then the power went out and had to cut our trip short and to be told we wouldn't be getting any refund was the nail in the coffin!!
Our stay was perfect! The views were absolutely beautiful. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was perfect, with all of the supplies we needed. The TV worked great so we could watch college football! Our stay could not have been better!
