However, the check-in time was not properly honored, and no compensation or measure was offered in response. That part was disappointing and made our family quite upset. Still, the beauty and comfort of the hotel quickly helped us move past those feelings. Before arrival, I exchanged a few emails with the hotel staff about arranging a surprise for my fiancé’s birthday — they were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make it special. The gym and spa facilities were lovely, and everything was spotless. The breakfast buffet had a great selection, including fresh fruit and made-to-order omelettes. Highly recommend!"
