"Jane's place was nice, clean, and comfortable. We had everything we needed, in the kitchen: pots/pans, spices, oil, coffee, silverware, grill tools, etc., enough linens, towels, toiletries in both bathrooms, etc. The location was quiet and beautiful, just what we wanted to get away and relax! Jane was a kind host and was quick to respond to any questions, had a bottle of wine for us. We loved being able to have our little dog, Daisy with us. Sackets Harbor, just a few min away was the cutest, quaint historical town. The 250th 4th of July fireworks were extra special watching on a battlefield from the war of 1812. Good Fellos restaurant was very good, thx for the recommendation, Jane! Only a few minor things that would have made our time even better: the biggest bummer was the dock, it was covered in tall grasses, even coming through the wood slats on the dock, making it very difficult to fish off of bc our lines would get caught in it. It didn't look that way in the pictures. It was pretty warm in the upstairs bedroom even with the AC on and it smelled a bit like cat/dog pee. The filtered water in the fridge and ice machine weren't hooked up so had to get a ton of water bottles to drink and make ice. Beds/pillows weren't the most comfortable but were fine. Our family 5 couldn't all sit in the living room on the couch to watch a movie on rainy nights. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely consider staying again! "The good : well located with easy highway access to Route 81, Watertown, Sackets Harbor, and the Thousand Islands region within 10 to 25 minutes. Reasonably comfortable rooms. Good desk staff (when they are there). The bad: continental breakfast was poor. No breads of any kind. No fruits. Bitter Coffee. The desk staff often not there. Sought towels at 10pm. Rang the service phone at desk. No one came after over 5 minutes. I finally roamed till I found a guy. Internet wifi was almost non-functional - meaning too weak."
