"Everything just as listed. Room was spotless, everything clean bright and fully functional. Host communications were timely, informative, and replies to questions prompt and always courteous and professional. We wanted to experience piece of English country living that is getting harder to find these days. Beautiful green fields, birds everywhere, and kind cheerful people who treat guests warmly. That's what you get here. Shops and places to dine are 15mins drive away. Great place to...

"I wish I’d just paid more to go to a chain hotel. This was terrible, the shower took 10 minutes to warm up by this point the bathroom was already flooded and the water was leaking into the bedroom floor. One of the great benefits was ‘FREE PARKING’ listed on their advert but I was in fact charged for parking for the few hours I was there overnight!!! Conveniently close to the airport but that’s about all that was good about this place."

"Perfect place to stay overnight before a flight from Stansted.
Lots of choice for your help yourself breakfast.
Wasn’t made aware that you could leave your car there and take a taxi to the airport. Would have definitely saved some money.
Maybe this could be highlighted more."

"Hotel check-in was quick and easy. Our room was spacious but I did book a superior room. Lots of hotels and pubs always fail to provide hair conditioners, tissues and face washers. Only a handful do that.
Don’t understand how they don’t provide them when it’s such a small cost item.
Dinner was nice but had to wait a long time, obviously due to short staffed.
I definitely would stay there again."
Holiday Inn Express London Stansted Airport by IHG
8/10 Good
"The shuttles were fairly regular but for some reason they este saying bay 28 and its not. Instead I saw a sign for holiday inn and got on that coach. Note its £4 per journey.
Checking took a minute and my room was at the back overlooking woods so it was peaceful. It is close to m&s shop and McDonald's so you do have options for food.
A kettle was provided which I used to make tea. The floor could have done with a vacuum but otherwise the toom was decent. I liked having a sofa to watch tv rather than the bed or a chair.
The hotel did provide breakfast at 4pm but its such a rush to eat and get the shuttle so I just took some cereals and learned that coffee is not allowed on the shuttle."
"The hotel was well equipped, clean and ideally located with it being a short drive to central Cambridge and also Newmarket. There are numerous public transport facilities with it being located right next to a train station with convenient connections to london and the north. The hotel is situated in a quiet modernised area and the parking is safe and in plentiful availability.
The parking is operated by an external provider and can be a faff as there are no physical paystations, with payment being processed via a QR code link or the use of an App, which can be off putting for some older or less tech-savvy guests.
However, aside from that, the hotel was lovely, breakfast was delicious with a wide array of options and I would happily return and highly recommend others to stay here.
If I was to suggest anything, I would say that the swimming pool changing rooms could benefit from more space and benches in order to sit and get dressed, as well as providing bags for wet clothing or instead having a mini tumble dryer for wet items as is the case in some other hotels."
