Budget hotel, which was clean and tidy
The hotel was clean, the rooms were in a reasonable condition, but showing signs of age. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was good. Overall the hotel is a good budget,in a good position on outskirts of town.

Motel style account
Late arrival after ferry crossing. Arrived at 11pm with instructions on how to access room. Family room / 2 adjoining was comfy and clean.Didn't stay for breakfast so can't comment on anything else. OK for quick overnight stop but pretty featureless.

The rooms were clean. The shower good. The check in straight forward. Open stairs to First floor bedrooms. The biggest issue for us was SECURITY. In the middle of the night 2 men banged on our first floor bedroom door and window shutters for about 10min demanding us to open the door to ‘ talk’. When we did not respond they then said they were police! We believe they intended to extract money/ possessions. They tried this on other bedrooms too, and then left.

Therefore we will ask for the results of the video surveillance (cctv cameras) (can you tell me about the time of the incident).for information, you received an email before your arrival in which it is specified to you you will find more information behind the door of your room, and this sign behind the door it is specified that in the eventof a problem onthe hotel an emergency number is at your disposal. WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL ??????? we sleep on the hotel, we can be reached all night

Really nice place to stay, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very good and only 7.5 euros. Quiet and friendly staff. Mom and pops type hotel. Automatic Steel curtain that makes in nice and dark to sleep and for privacy

Great place, amazing value
Amazingly good value! Perfectly adequate overnight stay, it even has a separate place to open your suitcase in comfort. Nice shower. Dogs allowed for a small fee. Close to ferry port and onwards roads.

This is a very nice little 2 star hotel to stay in before getting the ferry at Dieppe. The rooms are nice, modern, and a reasonable size. I would be happy to stay in this or another Balladins in the future.

Good overnight stop
Reasonable motel type hotel. Clean and functional. Breakfast very good, environment for eating very pleasant. Host stayed up to receive us late and was very welcoming. Good for overnight stop.

Friendly welcome from Monsieur, even though we've not been since before COVID. Bed much more comfortable this time, and a greater choice of food should you want a take away. Good location plenty of grass to walk the dog. Near to centre commerciale. Short drive to ferry terminal

Clean, spacious room ideally situated for overnight after ferry crossing and good breakfast. Staff friendly and hospitable, but facilities were basic with no kettle or fridge in room. Would stay again.

As a mother travelling alone with 2 children, they could not do enough to help me! They were kind and efficient and the room was spotlessly clean. A fantastic place to stop over after the ferry crossing to Dieppe.

Located on the outside of town, this was a suprisingly nice little hotel. Quiet and spacious rooms. Very good breakfast buffet. Staff were very helpful and polite! Would stay here again!

Genuine value for money
We have stayed on the outskirts of Dieppe in the past largely because of late booking on our part. Previous accommodation was rather less than satisfactory but this particular motel really, turned out to be very acceptable indeed with a pleasant and inexpensive breakfast to boot. Would go back quite happily but only possible if a car is involved.

Great value for money. We booked a family room, needed somewhere to crash for a few hours before the 5.30am ferry, and pleased with our room - actually a linked double room with a twin, so lots of space and clean comfortable beds. The hotel is very easy to find, clear signs.

An excellent stopover
We stayed one night in this hotel, arriving late in the evening after a ferry crossing and leaving early-ish the following morning. The system for getting your room key on late arrival worked extremely well and the room was very welcoming and comfortable.

Great value hotel.
Great place to stay with a dog on the way to or from ferry. Personally, for me the only downside is the beds are too hard, but the owners who run the hotel are really nice, friendly and helpful. We've found it best for us to book a superior double room, as coffee and biscuits provided, but the rooms themselves all seem to be the same good standard with walk in shower, and very firm bed. Although we don't use it, there is a Clinique Veterinaire right next door so if you stayed for 2 nights you could get your pet sorted there before returning to the UK. Also a good centre commerciale just down the road with a flunch restaurant for good value meals. You can get breakfast at the hotel, which is very good, and also order light meals to collect from reception, though there are no vegetarian options. Plenty of room to exercise the dog, and a good park at plouville nearby, where it can have a good run. We always stay at this hotel when travelling to France and back via Newhaven/Dieppe ferry.

Very basic hotel, but comfy beds
Small rooms that were very basic with old decor. The beds were very comfy and rooms clean. We came late at night and the drop box system didn't work. The staff, who were friendly and helpful, after about 10 mins found us and gave us our keys. If it's an over night stay and you just want somewhere to sleep, this is the place.
