Ford Too deep to risk crossing after heavy rain unless you're driving a 4x4. The stonework to the right is part of a railway bridge for the Carmarthen to West Wales line.

St Michael's Church, Llanfihangel abercywyn, St Clears This old church was superseded by one on the main road, over a century ago. It stands in a large churchyard, with access only by a footpath from Treventy Farm. It may have been a church used by pilgrims travelling to St Davids, and is near to St Teilo's Church, also ruined, which is on the other side of the Afon Cywyn.

Do not stay here if you want to get any sleep! Room was very dated, smelt like wet dog when we arrived. Uncomfortable matresses and very small ununsable bathroom that felt dirty.
