"Front desk English skills were a bit limited, but the entire staff was exceptionally friendly, even in the midst of hosting a large Spain cultural event. Rooms in excellent shape. AC worked, even in a super heat wave, but we couldn’t figure out why they kept automatically turning off at midnight. Charming, walkable small town, with lots of live music. Awesome. "

"We were only at Hotel Saint Jean one night but it was lovely. Although there were some improvements underway it was clean and nothing was in our way. The person who checked us in was very nice and helpful. The hotel was well located. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We were able to get a 3 person room which is hard to find. "The room smelt as soon as we entered, couldn’t distinguish if it was body odour or smoke. It was suffocating. Soon realised it was smoke, all the linen stank of it, especially the blankets and towels. It was impregnated into everything. This along with the lumpy pillows and mattress that caved in made for very little sleep.
