"People rave about the Dordogne. We had never been but now we know it is worth raving about. Reviews of Domaine De Labrousse are good but it is more than good. It is very special, as are the hosts. If you need a rest, some time to reflect and some beauty in your life, stay here."

"Staff is not friendly or sympathetic towards young kids.
Breakfast with flys all over cured meat and cheese - overpriced and unsanitary. Don’t eat here.
We were supposed to stay 2 nights and we left after 1 VERY hot miserable night. It was so hot my kids couldn’t sleep and were dehydrated the whole night. Our smallest child was almost to the point of heat stroke.
We just wanted to leave as fast as we could and have some sleep somewhere else even though we already paid for 2 nights to tell you...

"We used Le Mas des Boires as a home base for a family wedding (service in Saint-Jean-de-Côle, reception at Chateau des Boires). The property was beautiful with a wonderful outdoor garden, refreshing pool (although smaller than the picture), and well-appointed stately rooms with private bathrooms (we had two large side-by-side rooms with balconies that overlooked the property. We loved the historic charm of the building - huge manger in the dining room; stone walls, exposed wood beams, etc....
