Agence Cocoonr offers you this charming house in Saint-Georges-d'Oléron, with a renovated stone barn section, atypical with its half-height cross-beams on the first floor. Just 2 km from the sea, this 95 m² house can accommodate up to 6 guests. It comprises an attractive 48 m² living room, a fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, a bathroom and a garden of around 100 m². Wifi (fibre optic) included. We're waiting for you!
The accommodation comprises Ground floor: - A 48 m² living room with TV, sofa, dining area... - A study area - A fully-equipped kitchen with electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob, etc. - Bedroom 1: 19 m² bedroom with queen-size bed (160×200), wardrobe, hanging space and direct access to the garden. - A shower room with shower, two basins, heated towel rail, hairdryer... - Separate WC - Laundry/storeroom area - Space to store groceries, shoes, parkas ... First floor: - Bedroom 2: 18 m² bedroom with a double bed (140×190) and a single bed with cupboards, wardrobe and bedside tables. - Bedroom 3: 14 m² bedroom with a double bed (140×190), chest of drawers, wardrobe and bedside tables.
For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: stone barbecue, high chair, washing machine, cot, ironing board and iron.
Outside: - A lovely 100 m² enclosed garden - A 20 m² paved terrace with furniture to enjoy the fine weather.
The house is ideally located in Saint-Georges-d'Oléron, in a very pleasant environment. All the essential shops, boutiques, restaurants, bars and markets are close by. The cycle paths serving the whole island are 20 m from the house and the Tourist Office is in the heart of the village (5 min walk).
Activities : - Visit the heart of the village of Saint-Georges: the magnificent Romanesque church and the old covered market on the Place. - Cycle paths are close to the house.
From Saint-Georges, it's easy to explore and enjoy all the island has to offer: -Discover the many large and beautiful wild beaches. (The beautiful Douhet beach is 2km from the house). - Visit Fort Boyard and discover the immense Saumonards beach and the vast pine forest that borders it (towards Boyard town) - Visit to the Chassiron lighthouse in Saint-Denis d'Oléron - Visit to the Vauban Citadel at Château d'Oléron (18km to the south-west of the island) and the pretty typical port with its fishermen's huts and craft creations. - Visit the very charming Port des Salines in the south of the island and the salt marshes. - Discover the beaches of Saint Trojan and its popular tourist train. - Discover the Marennes d'Oléron basin and its oyster farms, and try your hand at oyster tasting.
Many other activities are on offer: - Sailing school at the little port of Le Douhet, 2km from the house (surfing, sailing, paddling, etc.). - Kayak tours of the marshes - Sea trips on a cruise boat or sailboat to visit the islands - Sea fishing trips from the port of La Cotinière, the island's main port (9km) - Horse riding, donkey farm
Transport : If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the house's private car park.

La petite Grange Excellent accueil « des services de Marie ». Disponible, à l’écoute, arrangeante sur les horaires, bons conseils. Logement spacieux, bien équipé, agréable et aménagé avec goût. Juste un petit regret pour la cour qui donne sur une rue passante et bruyante. Malgré cela nous avons passé un très bon séjour et découvert une île qui offre une grande variété d’activités et de sites.

La petite Grange Excellent séjour passé à la petite grange. La maison est fidèle au descriptif, spacieuse et calme. Nous avons apprécié l’extérieur et pu profiter de la terrasse. Marie, qui nous a accueilli, est disponible, réactive et d’une grande gentillesse. Elle a pris le temps de nous faire visiter les lieux et de nous donner quelques bonnes adresses. De retour sur l’e d’Oléron, nous ne manquerons pas de revenir. Je recommande fortement la petite grange pour vos séjours sur l’île !
