"Room was small bathroom was small but over all for a one night it was fine. The sheets where stained I did ask for new ones although I think they where just stained washed but old. "

Own secure outside parking area with gate that is closed at night. Restaurant good, but may not belong to hotel. Internet connection blocks ssh. We have junior suite, which is quite large and very nice. Hotel fronts on canal, and view is fantastic. City is very pretty from this viewpoint. Breakfast good. Thermostat appears to be only decorative. I like this place a lot. Definitely better than the usual 4*."

"Stayed only for a night during a roadtrip. The hotel is very conveniently located. Parking is secure and safe. The staff were very friendly and nice. "

"This is a pleasant characterful property, with the sort of period charm we prefer rather than clincal modernity. The check-in was efficient and welcoming. Our top floor room was spacious and comfortable wth a good sofa as a bonus. The breakfast was continental, with no hot options as expected. The only thing that stopped this from being 5star is that, despite nice touches like an orange juicing machine and plum moelleux cake, there was less than average choice of standard items of prepared fruit and pastries. This was just a stopover for us on the way back to the ferry from Switzerland, so we didn't spend time in the town other than to view the river from the bridge, and enjoy the local cuisine and ambience at the Bonaventure in the main square."
