"The Barn House was a comfortable stay for a group of girlfriends for a weekend at the Buffalo! Even though the river was too low for an enjoyable float, we appreciated the proximity to deeper spots like Grinders Ferry to still be able to spend the afternoon swimming on the river. The directions were clear and the cabin was as advertised. Would happily return for another visit."

"My wife & child absolutely loved this place. It’s very secluded and had very clear stream down the street from our location. I enjoyed the fire pit which had plenty of wood for burning available. The jacuzzi outside was perfection. It was very quiet & peaceful. Our host was attentive and helpful."

"What an amazing experience we had at Dewey's Cabin! My husband and I came with another couple and found it to be a perfect setting for rest and renewal. We all agreed that it was a wonderful way to re-connect with nature and "unplug" from every day. We came to take advantage of the dark sky during the Perseid Meteor shower and were not disappointed. We continued seeing some for 2 days afterwards. We canoed on the Buffalo River one day, enjoyed the solitude at Margaret White swimming hole . . . the cold, spring fed pool was amazing, visited the Crystal Bridges museum, and the Ghost Town at Rush. There are so many things to do in the area. We would highly recommend this stay to others and cannot wait to return!"

"Large deck with a good view. Beautiful bathrooms with large showers. Extremely comfortable mattress. Well equipped kitchen. Very private but also close to Jasper and the Cliff House.The property isn’t very suitable for anyone with any mobility issues, the stairs were steep and narrow."
