"Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Plaza Madeleine Hotel & Spa during our summer stay in Sarlat. Everything about the experience was close to perfect. The hotel’s location could not be better — right in the heart of Sarlat, just steps away from the charming medieval streets, lively markets, and great restaurants. The service was outstanding throughout our stay. Every member of the staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, quiet, and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The atmosphere of the hotel, with its elegant decor and spa facilities, made it the perfect base to explore the beauty of the Dordogne region. Both Sarlat and the surrounding area are simply magnificent — full of history, amazing food, and stunning scenery. We truly loved our time here and would return without hesitation. "The property is a charming historic hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely as well, though it was a bit chilly to use it. We enjoyed sitting beside it. Our room was well appointed though cosy. People who enjoy a spacious room would want to specify that when booking. The restaurant is excellent. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner."
