Most importantly, the staff was very kind and generous with coffee, tissues and a 7-UP when my phone from the USA did not work and I spent two hours in their lobby getting help from the cell phone carrier in the USA. Finally fixed and on my way. Merci, thank you."

"We had a lovely stay at this beautiful, historic inn. Our room was in the units across the street by the river — spacious, comfortable, and featuring a king bed. The setting was peaceful and picturesque, with the river and many charming nearby towns, and it’s only a short drive to Montreal. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We speak some French, but travelers with no French may find communication a bit challenging since English is limited. Breakfast was good but somewhat overpriced for what was offered. We would recommend adding a TV in the living room as well as in the bedroom. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area."
