"The place was beautiful. Our room was immaculate and the staff was great for the most part. The only struggles we had were getting ice was tough at times since you have to request it and one of the nights we had to call multiple times over an hour period before we finally got ice. Another issue was one day we were left with no cups at all in the room. In the big picture those are incredibly minor things and the property overall was truly wonderful!"

"Overall the Hotel Place D'Armes is a great hotel with large rooms, one of the best bathrooms I've ever experienced (loved the huge shower with the various rain shower, handheld and body jets) and fantastic smelling Le Labo bath products, convenient valet parking (42 CAD per day) and overall convenient location in Old Montreal, near Old Port, Chinatown, and nearby Metro station. The only downsides were an A/C problem with our room which kept reoccurring despite them sending folks to fix almost everyday until on the last night a workman said that we shouldn't put the thermostat below 20 degrees Celsius else the system for our room would shut down and stop working. Additionally, on our first night we had dinner at Brasserie 701 (one restaurant in the hotel) to celebrate my wife's birthday where the food was ok but not great and the service was awful (they messed up my wife's main entree order so they took my food back while they cooked hers and then my food was lukewarm when served back to me). Not sure if they were having a bad night or this is the norm but we didn't want to eat there again during our stay."

"Le Cantlie Suites is an absolute gem for a family trip to Montreal. My wife, our child, and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend, and it made our entire vacation smooth and enjoyable. Unbeatable Location & Convenience The location in the Golden Square Mile is unbeatable. We were within easy walking distance of major landmarks, shopping, and fantastic dining, making exploring the city with a kid completely hassle-free. Peace of Mind Parking One of the biggest highlights for us was the underground valet parking. Given the concerns around car theft in the Montreal area, having secure, covered valet parking on-site gave us total peace of mind throughout our stay. Spacious & Family-Friendly The suite setup is ideal for families. Having extra room to spread out made a world of difference compared to a standard hotel room, giving everyone space to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Between the exceptional location, spacious accommodations, and secure parking, Le Cantlie Suites delivers everything you need for a stress-free Montreal getaway."
