I didn't expect to love an ordinary Best Western on St. Catherine, of all places, just booked it for one night for my work trip. It turned out to be such a pleasant experience that I want to be back next time I come to Montreal. Also, the location is excellent if you travel by bus: the bus station is 10 min away on foot. A subway station is nearby as well. The hotel is a hidden gem! "

"The woman at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. There is a cool spot in the basement to hang out— a bit musty, but it has a pool table, table/chairs for games etc., and stone walls/arches. Quiet not a lot of people/noise, elevator always available. Parking garage around the corner (no in/out privileges but reasonable), close to Metro. Recommend. "
