Room was clean and valet parking was a major plus. Close by to main areas. There's a strip of places to eat a few blocks away. Just pay attention to your receipt at the end, we got double charge for a few stuff, staff fixed the issue but I would've walked away not knowing if I didn't read the receipt. Other than that, i'd recommend and stay here again.
Hotel staff were welcoming and got us into our room quickly. Room was excellent, bed comfortable, modern, spacious design. Metro is very accessible, as well as the sprawling RESO underground city and Museum of Fine Art. The heated pool was awesome. Will definitely be staying here again.
Nice rooms. Staff was really helpful guiding clueless tourist. Close enough to the bell center to walk everywhere and lots of good restraints in walking distance. Never swam but pool looked good Lots of people using it. Even in the winter.
This was our first stay at Hotel Le Crystal. Overall, excellent experience. Day one we used the outdoor hot tub and it was lovely. Day two, the hot tub was unfortunately very cold as they were having problems regulating the water temperature.
It's a lovely place, three blocks from the "hub" of downtown. Eaton Center, Place Des Arts, the underground malls and a slew of great restaurants are all a five minute walk. About 20 minutes walk to the bus station. The room came with a kitchen (stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, plates, glasses, utensils) and was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and even let us check in early, which meant we could see / do more without lugging our bags around with us. The pool was a very welcome and pleasant amenity and the staff made dining recommendations which we are very grateful for. This hotel was such a pleasant surprise, it made the trip.
Good hotel overall. Not a whole lot of selection for restaurants within the hotel. Glass shower door seal leaks water onto the floor. Could use an option for self parking. Our option is valet. Could use some signage to park on the side street in order to check in.
Other than those things, everything else was great.
I stayed at the Fairmont Montreal for a business trip and the location is superb. A brief walk to St. Catherines st and Old Montreal make this gem an ideal location for shopping and tourism. The hotel itself is always clean and has an attentive staff that ensures your experience is positive. I brought my wife and daughter on this business trip and they were very fascinated to see John and Yoko's suite that housed the famous "bed-in".
Most of the city's museums, corporate headquarters, and department stores can be found in downtown Montreal. Crescent Street draws party-goers to its restaurants, bars, and night clubs. Mount Royal Park features the 30m-high (98-foot) steel cross visible across Montreal and illuminated each night. Hockey fans flock to the Bell Centre, home of the Montreal Canadiens.
