"Nous avons pris la location car nous étions invités à un week-end anniversaire 40 ans d’un ami, à nous, qui avait loué une salle des fêtes à Charny sur 2 soir Et nous avons réservé ce logement pour deux couples et 2 adolescents pour le week-end entier pas besoin de se déplacer en voiture le logement était à 5 bonne minute de la salle des fêtes donc parfait. "We read all of the 5 star reviews before booking and having stayed there we can see why. Everything about the property makes for a good holiday. If you are looking for peace and quiet surrounded by fields and woodland, look no futher. Carole and Jose who manage the property were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive and when we had a small problem with one of the toilets the put it right immediately. We thought the surrounding area was lovely and enjoyed the local markets."

"Tout y etait . Nous avons ptis possession des lieux yres rapidement. Nous nous sommes détendus dans la piscine au fur et à mesure des arrivées. Les journées secsont déroulées merveilleuses bien (piscine barbecue, football, boules, soirées dansantes et egalement visite à la ferme pour les petits et vélos rails pour les plus grands). De plus la météo nous a été favorable d'où quelque coups de soleil. A conseiller pour des retrouvailles en famille."

"In the middle of the countryside but with shops only a short drive away, it was the perfect setting for a family holiday. We very much enjoyed our stay which was very relaxing and our al-fresco meals were an absolute delight. It is well equiped and we were able to prepare meals without difficulty and no shortage of utensils, pots and pans etc. The downside is that the property is in need on both a deep clean and some basic maintenance. There was a lot of dirt and dust and also mould in one of the showers. We enjoyed the swimming pool however we had to clean it before we could use it and it does NOT comply with French regulations in that there is no protective fence around it. The trampoline was not in a safe condition either. We had four small children with us so we had to keep a close eye on them at all times. Although the house instructions state that the CCTV is switched off when it is rented out, we were not convinced as the cameras still showed a red light so they clearly had power. For me, it was almost nostalgic as I spent a number of family holidays in a (family owned) house in a similar condition when I was younger but, if you are looking for a house that is in really good condition, move on."
