Lovely chateau in the heart of Bordeaux

Amazing family run boutique hotel, super welcoming. Fantastic room, fantastic pool. The village is very sleepy but that is part of the charm. We would love to come back.

Charm and personality

A great place! A newly renovated small chateu with charm and personality. Like living in a private home, tastefully inerior designed with high comfort and personality. Supernice couple running this small estate.

The ‘family’ room has no air conditioning. The upstairs rooms apparently do. We visited during some of the hottest days of the period and were provided one small fan. No inquiry by staff/owners about whether room was tolerable given known high temperatures. The folks that run the place were on property only in morning during our stay, no one on property in evening/night during that period (you call and leave a phone message if you have an issue). Property grounds very run down, surrounding town is shuttered, non-existent price list as to ‘water and coffee’ charges (you are provided a charge on checkout if you asked for water or additional coffee). There are much better ‘chateau’ stay experiences available in the region to choose from.

Un lieu magique

Très beau lieu. Magique Très bien décoré et aménagé. Excellent accueil. On se sent comme chez soi dans un cadre exceptionnel. Les extérieurs sont aussi magiques. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir

Helt underbart ställe!

Vi hade en helt underbar vistelse på Château Real! Hotellet var galet fint och paret som driver det var så himla trevliga och service minded. De hade supergod frukost och jättegoda charkbrickor man kunde käka till middag! Får ni chansen så boka detta ställe, ni kommer inte ångra er!

Je recommande le château Real les jeunes propriétaires sont charmants et attentionné... chambre très agréable et très propre calme le petit déjeuner excellent,la planche de charcuterie avec les fromages très copieux avec des produits locaux
