"Nice little hotel. Friendly staff. Rooms were clean. We were travelling with kids and were worried about the condition of this place on the way to this hotel. But when we reached, we’re pleasantly surprised. I’ll definitely stay there again."
"I have booked this hotel for one night stay in August. Due to our travels, we have arrived around 9 PM. There were no one at the office. The phone numbers were provided to call for Edmonton. It took half an hour to reach someone at these two numbers. Person or the owner on the other line said that we should plan our trip better and arrive on time like other people. There is no room available for us. He acknowledge that they are a small hotel and they don’t check Expedia for the bookings. The...

"We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous historic home. We were lucky to enjoy TWO town events that took place right beside the property: a Sunday market and a Friday evening concert. The latter wasn’t even audible once we turned in for the night because the walls are so thick! There were definitely some oddities in the house due to its age, but that’s to be expected. The kitchen was well appointed and we had all we needed for cooking and food prep. Overall, you couldn’t beat the location for its access to local breweries, a grocery store nearby and easy drives to nice hiking nearby. We also enjoyed day trips to Quebec City and Trois Rivières while there. We also got to just enjoy relaxing in the hammock and in the various sitting rooms with comfy couches. An ideal spot to explore all that la belle province has to offer. "
"I have travelled numerous times to different places and this by far is the worst hotel I have been to. The sheets were dirty, there is no hot water, it feels unsafe, some of the bathrooms were shared that we did not know upon reserving (you have to pay extra for a private bathroom), lack of staff, you can here other guests talking outside the hallway to your bedroom. I don’t mind a hotel being old, I think it gives it a character, but was expecting it to be a little bit more well managed or at least clean and safe for a more pleasant experience. For some reason, I can feel a negative energy in this place and it looks so gloomy. If we had a choice, we would have left the place in a heartbeat even without refund but everywhere else around the area was either sold out or $1000 a night at Quebec City. Like what the other review had said, it feels like a Ghost hotel. Reminds me of The Nun movie. 😁 Goodluck. "
