A man named Auguste Perret headed up that team to rebuild the city which now has earned UNESCO World Heritage status due to its urban planning and architecture. Personally I love best the parts of the town where the old meets the new.

Good stay, limited gluten free breakfast options
Overall a good stay. They advertised gluten free bread at the breakfast buffet. When I asked for some, they said it had to be offered and would take 10-12 minutes. Turns out they had it frozen and needed warm it up. It has over done and rock hard. Otherwise a good stay.
