"The position on the cliff tops is excellent, the views are spectacular! The choice of dining is good. Breakfast is excellent. The private beach and clifftop walk are highly recommended. We enjoyed the crazy golf, 18 holes which is included in the stay. It was a little hot for Padel or Tennis so maybe we would do this next time in cooler months. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful and kind. It is quiet and relaxing and the plenty of space for everyone. We had a lovely room in the main hotel overlooking beautifully manicured gardens with the ocean in the distance. It’s nice to walk around the resort and admire the gardens. "
"Had a fantastic stay at Vidamar Resort Algarve, a really easy and quick check in. Got our room keys, and hired two towels (fee was repaid upon check-out) and the room was spacious, well lit and all appliances worked too!
The shower was spacious, and the mirror was well lit.
Very comfy bed, and a spare pillow was in the room if needed also.
Balcony gave great views onto the golf course next door, with little to no road noise, and even through the massive windows, the sun was well blocked out by the blackout curtains.
Breakfast was a very good selection, from full English to meats and cheeses and eggs cooked to your own preference.
Didn't try out the buffet evening meal, so can't comment on that.
Swimming pool was well attended at all times by life guards, and there were plenty of sun loungers, bean bags and parasols for everyone to have their own space.
Staff were always pleasant, and our room was clean. Would come back again, for sure! "

"The property was lovely. Very clean and quiet. Close to nice beaches and towns. Great for our family visit. We also appreciated the many dining options and pools at the neighboring Marriott resort. The only negative was the broken AC unit in our room. It leaked a lot of water which had already caused damage to the wall and flooring before we arrived. We mentioned it at check-in and stopped using the unit when we noticed the damage. We were told that it was on the list to be repaired."

For those like me who are always skeptical when reviewing the hotel provided pictures, I can say that the rooms, the surrounding, the facilities, and the pleasant staff are exactly as described and portrayed.
