The self-catering cottage 'La Mothe' is situated in the Aveyron department in Southern France. A private housing in a former sandstone farmhouse (18th c.) at the far end of the hamlet LaMothe.

The peace and quiet of its prominent situation in the Diège valley provides numerous possibilities to discover its surroundings throughout all seasons. At the heart of the Bastides triangle Villefranche - Villeneuve - Sauveterre you can also discover famous sites such as Belcastel, Najac, Foissac, St Cirq Lapopie, Figeac, Rocamadour, Padirac, Conques or Millau and its breathtaking viaduct.

In this 210 sqm cottage with all modern conveniences you have at your disposal: six independent bedrooms (4 single beds, 4 double beds, 1 cot), a well-equipped kitchen, a living-room with fire-place, a games room, 2 bathroom and toilets on each floor, central heating.

A private pool and a parking enhance the 1500 sqm estate with a sweeping view over the meadows and down the Diège valley.

Chouette week-end

La maison est très agréable et a été appréciée de tous, grands et petits. On y trouve tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un agréable séjour au calme, et les alentours réservent de belles découvertes. Et merci au propriétaire pour l'accueil et les échanges sympas. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Que d'eau !!!

La pluie continue de ce mois de mai 2021 ne nous a pas permis de profiter pleinement de la région , mais du coup, un peu plus de la maison et son extérieur (bbq, piscine,...) lors des éclaircies. Très bonnes vacances en étant bien accueilli et avec des réparations rapides sur des pb de tuyauterie

spacieux et convivial

Nos avons passé un agréable moment en famille malgré le mauvais temps. Le gite est spacieux , le salon est convivial grâce à la belle cheminée que nous allumions le soir . Nous devions être les 1ers locataires de la saison car il est évident que le ménage n'avait pas été fait récemment . Ce détail mis à part nous avons apprécié ce Week end dans un si bel endroit .

SEJOUR AGREABLE

Gite spacieux et adapté pour plusieurs familles avec enfants ( nombreux jeux, livres, jardin clos...). Calme et tranquillité pour des vacances reposantes. Voisins accueillants ("jardin remarquable" à côté du gîte). Bref, une semaine sympa même si tout ne fonctionne pas comme on le souhaiterait. On note tout de même ( et on apprécie...) le propriétaire très réactif en cas de problème et disponible, dimanche y compris.

Sejour agréable, gite fonctionnel confortable

Gite spacieux, 6 chambres confortables : chaque personne de notre groupe de marcheurs y a trouve ses marques. Les randonnées autour du gite sont nombreuses (autour de Conques, vers Najac, directement depuis le gite sur le causse de Villeneuve), nous avons eu la chance en plus d'avoir du soleil. Sympa donc pour un week end de découverte de cette région

Eau chaude mal réglée a l'arrivée . Four non fonctionnel. Une grande poêle pour douze. Plaque gaz minuscule, pour douze. Lave vaisselle avec le bouton casse.... Cheminée dans la cuisine non fonctionnelle.... Pas de radiateur dans les chambres du haut: à voir pour le confort. Prestations datées.

Suivant les intempéries, l'annulation de notre compétition en rapport direct avec la tombée de neige de la nuit, la frustration concernant ces dépenses devenues injustifiées, bref tout un tas d'imprévus, le "gite" est devenu un faire valoir de ce déplacement : sa qualité a atténué un peu le reste. Nous y reviendrons.

WEEK END

.Beaucoup de charme et très spacieux,nous avons trouvé le gîte exactement identique au descriptif,nous recommandons cette location ,c'est vraiment un havre de paix .Notre séjour à été exceptionnel d'autant plus qu'il a fait très beau nous avons pu profiter de la piscine et des extérieurs tard le soir sans avoir peur de déranger le voisin,nous étions 10 personnes et à aucun moment nous sommes sentis gêné par le manque d'espace . Le bâtiment est d'une beauté exceptionnelle. BRAVO au propriétaire .A tout ceux qui lirons ce petit mot ,n'hésitez pas vous ne serez pas déçus .

superbe séjour en Aveyron

Gîte agréable, plein de ressources (livres, jeux, etc.), bien conçu pour les grandes familles ou groupe d'amis, le tout dans un cadre très agréable et surtout très calme. Idéal pour se reposer et se ressourcer, mais aussi pour réviser les examens pour les lycéens et les étudiants. Possibilité de vivre à 12 dans le gîte sans se gêner, d'autant plus facile si le beau temps est de la partie. Toutes les informations touristiques, les activités sportives de la région se trouvent dans le gîte, des cartes de la région sont mises à disposition. De nombreuses possibilités de ballades et randonnées à pied et en vélo au départ du gîte, sans être gêner par les voitures. Il y en a pour tous les goûts: de la petite promenade à la grande randonnée, pour les petits et pour les grands. Aveyron: Région très accueillante, les habitants sont toujours prêts à discuter avec vous. De nombreux sites à visiter, des paysages magnifiques. N'oubliez pas de faire un tour sur les marchés, les producteurs locaux vous proposeront leurs produits, un régal pour vos papilles. Que de bons souvenirs, nous reviendrons , nous n'avons pas tout vu.

séjour agréable dans un site calme et reposant

le gite a l'équipement necessaire pour recevoir 12 personnes. La disposition des pièces est telle qu'elle permet une intimité pour chaque occupant. le point faible est la literie qui n'est pas d'excellente qualité. de plus, il faut nécessairement une voiture car le gite est typique de cette région et éloigné de tous commerces. cette faiblesse est aussi un atout pour ceux qui cherchent la tranquilité.
