We stayed for 7 nights and had an excellent time here. Truly one of the best 5* hotels I have stayed at. The staff were all friendly and attentive, we received great service and food. I particularly enjoyed the spa and wellness centre, the range of saunas and available treatments were impressive. The hotel is well situated with fantastic views over Salo, we had a balcony room with an amazing view, it really added to the holiday. I will definitely visit again when I'm back around here.

Gorgeous hotel, gorgeous view!

This hotel is wonderful. The view is amazing. The food is wonderful as is the service. The pool area is gorgeous. My room had not just a balcony but a private lawn. The town of Salo is gorgeous! Definitely will come back!

We spent a wonderful week here in September 2025. From the moment we arrived to departure, the staff could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great position looking down over lake Garda. The facilities are perfect, the Spa and sauna are great and the massage treatment worked a treat. Free parking and free shuttle down to the town of Salo. The extensive breakfast was the perfect start to the day, whether that is chilling in the hotel or taking a trip around lake Garda. Highly recommended and would definitely go back again…

A gorgeous hotel in a prime location for exploring Lake Garda! We decided on a perfect balance of exploring and relaxing at the hotel, enjoying all the facilities that were on offer! The spa was so relaxing, and the staff were all so friendly. Reception kindly helped us with arranging scooter rental to head up to Limone and a private boat tour with local companies - both were amazing experiences! We were spoilt for choice of food on offer at breakfast, and we had dinner at the bar two nights in a row - so delicious and such a relaxed atmosphere! The room was gorgeous too, we didn't want to leave and this is the first hotel we’ve been to where we’ve discussed coming back for a repeat stay!

We had a fantastic experience from the moment we arrived at the hotel. The parking was easy and plentiful, making it stress-free to get settled in. The check-in process was smooth, and we were greeted with exceptional customer service. A lovely touch was receiving a rose and Prosecco upon arrival, which made us feel extra special. We were also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, offering us a stunning view of Lake Garda. Since it was off-season, the hotel was quite quiet, which added to the peaceful atmosphere. The only restaurant available for dinner during our stay served a buffet, but the food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. While room service wasn’t available, we understood it might be due to the off-season timing. The hotel’s grounds and views were breathtaking, though we did notice that a few trees could be trimmed to enhance the lake view even further. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and we would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone seeking peace, comfort, and beautiful scenery.

Generally great apart from the German culture complete nakedness requirement for the many saunas for “hygiene” reasons. Total non-inclusive and when offered the chance to deal with this query we were completely blanked by the hotel. Over 14s allowed in the spa too….ruined our stay as the weather was poor and we would have enjoyed use of the sauna.

Unser Aufenthalt im A Rosa La Garda war durchwachsen. Das Zimmer war groß, modern und sehr sauber – ein echtes Highlight. Auch das Housekeeping war top. Der Check-in verlief problemlos, die Mitarbeiterin war sehr hilfsbereit. Mit der Halbpension waren wir jedoch enttäuscht. Das Abendessen entsprach nicht dem Erwartungsniveau eines 5-Sterne-Hauses: Die Speisenqualität war nicht zufriedenstellend, und es gab keine besondere kulinarische Note. Ein Beispiel: Das Wasser (7 €) wurde am Abend nicht wie üblich bei Halbpension zurückgestellt, sondern ohne Kommentar abgeräumt. Nach Rückfrage beim Restaurant-Management wurde dies als normal bezeichnet, ohne dass es einen Ausgleich gab. Das Parken in der Garage war kostenfrei, was sehr angenehm war. Beim Check-out wurde uns jedoch nicht nach unserem Aufenthalt gefragt, sodass keine Rückmeldung erbeten wurde. Das Frühstück war gut, aber viele Produkte wirkten vom Vortag und waren nicht frisch. Die zwei männlichen Kellner waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit, die Restaurant-Manager jedoch eher distanziert. Auch das Minibar-Angebot war sehr versteckt und nicht intuitiv zu finden. Der Fernseher zeigte nicht alle Sender, und diese hingen oft, sodass nur Störsender zu sehen waren. Fazit: Wir waren mit Zimmer, Wellness und der Lage sehr zufrieden, mit dem Restaurant-Service, der Qualität der Halbpension und den technischen Details (Minibar, Fernseher) jedoch weniger. Als Gastronomen aus dem 5-Sterne-Bereich hätten wir uns mehr Mühe gewünscht
