"Krista was an excellent host! Highly communicative and very responsive! As for the cottage, we have stayed at elite resort Salt Springs many times and this is the first time that we got a Vrbo. This was a fantastic cottage and definitely an upgrade from the standard cottages that we’ve stayed in in years past. Super comfy couch, excellent location and view. I would highly recommend this cottage if you are staying at Salt Springs."

"Camper was great for us. Was close to town by really close to the springs in the forest. We brought our kayaks and had a great time in the local rivers. Plenty of room to off load our yacks with no fear of security"
The Silver Springs Lakefront Cottage - with Canoe

"Great lake house. We really enjoyed staying there. The house needs some special attention to many stains on curtains and pillows were gross on couch. It seems that the comforter in 2nd bedroom were used with strange white stains & lots of hairs on it so my son slept in the 3rd room. Other than listed above, the house was clean. The beds are really high and was hard for me to get into and I'm 5' 8" but everyone else in my party are 6' plus. Kitchen was great & well equipped. We had everything we needed to grill and cook in the house. The back deck was wonderful to hang out on with our small dogs. Once the sun goes down there was spiders galore everywhere. The paddle boat was broken so we had to fix it to take out. The sun cover on it is no longer there. We were hoping for some great fishing but it was just ok. People were swimming in it but we didn't. The bottom was mucky. This house was centrally located. Great jeep trails(mins away), silver spring kayaking(10 mins away), salt springs for tubing(20 mins). Great restaurant Mojo is 10 mins away but all other spots were closed early or not open when we were trying to find places to eat. All in all, it was a great mini great away."

"Host was great in communicating with us through VRBO. We should have shared cell numbers and handled everything through texting after the initial communication. We had a pet with us that had to be accomodated at the last second (and was fine). We were offered use of kayaks, but we couldn't take advantage due to weather. (Our problem not theirs). Had everything we needed for a great weekend."
