The room was extremely dirty and had a horrible smell. The carpet was so filthy that our socks literally turned dark just from walking around the room. The bathroom smelled bad, there were stains everywhere, and the room even smelled like urine. The wallpaper was falling apart and the ac, literally had a red light on it saying the filter needed to be clean.
The elevators were another experience 😭
The girl at the front desk was actually nice and was going to let us switch rooms without making it a big deal, until a guy stepped in and said the cleaning lady had to check the room first. The cleaning lady was extremely rude and disrespectful. She came in, didn’t even say hi, and then told him right in front of me that the room “didn’t smell bad” (WHICH IT DID SO BAD 😭) and that I simply “didn’t like the room.” It was honestly so unprofessional and made the whole experience even worse.

Location location, close to the best attraction and restaurants. Rooms are small. The breakfast is good, although the amount of people having breakfast is a lot.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Place is next to the Brooklyn Bridge, Wall St, Chinatown, just so much to do and you can just walk everywhere.
