"A beautiful, well-maintained, charmingly rustic 19th-century home. Friendly owner and staff, and even a handsome (leashed) house dog, Arthur. Laid-back breakfast downstairs was a nice chance to chat with fellow guests. Only (minor) complaint is with the bathroom amenities; it had shampoo but not soap and very little shelf space."

"Breakfast is superb and the staff is exceptional. The location is beautiful albeit isolated. Main shortcoming for me is the size of most rooms, really tiny. They have a few beautiful suites in the “400 house “ if you are willing to pay the steep price. Those are confortable, bright and spacious enough. Another concern for some people maybe displacements from rooms to facilities. This is a spread out property and there is considerable walking to be done, in cases over uneven terrain."

"Super schönes Haus mit phantastischem Blick. Tolle Lage! Ein paar Kleinigkeiten (verstopfter Abfluss, Duschkopf ohne Arretierung, zu wenige Haken für Handtücher, kein Ablageplatz für Duschgel etc. im kleinen Bad, verschmutzter Grill, Töpfe und Pfannen in nicht so guten Zustand etc.). Bei dem Mietpreis geht es besser! Trotzdem hatten wir einen tollen Urlaub mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten und eine sehr nette Vermieterin. 4 von 5 Sternen!"

"Unbeschreiblich schön!Okay - wir versuchen, es in Worte zu fassen:Wir hatten traumhafte Tage auf Älgö. Maßgeblich dafür war dieses wunderschön gelegene Haus mit seiner hellen, luftigen und stylischen Einrichtung sowie der sehr guten Ausstattung.Letztendlich hat man das Dilemma: Genießt man die Zeit im tollen Haus (mit Wintergarten, Terrasse, Balkon, Sauna…) oder erkundet man die schöne Umgebung oder nutzt die Nähe zu Stockholm mit der guten Verkehrsanbindung von Älgö aus?!Wir sind als Pärchen mit dem Auto aus Deutschland (über Dänemark) angereist und waren das erste Mal in Schweden.Wir waren viel zu Fuß auf Älgö unterwegs (z.B. Badestrand inkl. Kiosk), mit dem Auto auf den Nachbarinseln (Bäcker, Skogsö Kapell, Supermärkte, Artipelag) und ab Solsidan mit Bus/Zug in Stockholm.Wir haben großartige Sonnenuntergänge direkt vor Ort erlebt, mehrere Rehe gesehen und Natur, Kunst und Sonne getankt.Wir können dieses Haus zu 100% empfehlen - es fehlt an nichts! Die Lage ist faszinierend (bei allerbester Verkehrsanbindung mit dem Auto), das Haus großzügig mit viel Stauraum und bester Ausstattung.Ewa war vor Ort, hat uns herzlich empfangen und super Tipps gegeben. Monika war immer per E-Mail erreichbar und alle Infos zu Anfahrt, Mülltrennung etc. erhielten wir vorab bestens organisiert.Wir waren froh, dass wir 6 Tage hier gebucht hatten (Teil unserer 20-tägigen Südschweden-Rundreise) und wären gerne noch länger geblieben."
