"Wer was erleben will, soll hier einchecken. Ich kam an, wurde empfangen, aber der junge Herr war etwas überfordert. Ich saß dann in der Gaststube um meinen Anmeldeschein auszufüllen, mit einem verstörten, bellendem Hund, 10 Minuten lang, man wusste schlichtweg nicht das ich kommen, obwohl rechtzeitig online gebucht. "Beautifully situated for wonderful views of the valley below. Good parking. The proprietor, Ingolf, is a really likeable extrovert with good English. Best not to mention World Cup, Germany, however!!! Breakfasts are good with occasional treats. Our room was large, plenty of storage, clean with a table for four - good for takeaways etc. (no chambermaid, but not needed anyway) balcony more than adequate for that evening tipple. No lunch or evening meals, but no problem. Beer, soft drinks in large fridge - honor system used. Braunbergstuble further up the hill (watch out for small pointer signs) welcoming, excellent with large meals and Credit cards accepted. Hotel Hirsch in town, Credit cards not accepted and told after the meal. All in all a lovely break.Thank you Ingolf."

"The only negative experience was our check in as the young lady that helped us was the most rude experience we had in our 10 days in Europe. Everyone else at the resort was delightful. Just unfortunate to have this be the first person we interacted with after traveling all day and finishing our trip at this resort to relax and rejuvenate. Otherwise, an amazing experience"

"Modern converted mill, next to the train station. Everything clean and tidy, apart from the supplied and much needed fan (No AC). It was full of hair and dust, not ideal really. Had to sleep with windows open, during 35'c heat. Check in was a bit of a faff with digital registration and needing passport images all before you got access to the code to let you in. (My code didn't arrive, so i had to call a helpful woman who sorted it for me) In total took over 20min to "check in" at a time when you just wanted to drop your bags and rest."
