Great place to stay

We were in two for a 3 day sport event and two families stayed here. It was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space, clean, quiet neighborhood and comfortable beds.

Great location!

This house was perfect for my family of 8! It was centrally located and had everything we needed. The beds and linens were very comfortable and everything was clean. The property manager was quick to respond and helpful with any issues we had.

Beautiful house, poorly cleaned

Visited from May16-19.House was beautiful, nice neighborhood, but the cleaning was very poor!!! Had to wash all the bed sheets since they were dirty, had to clean tables in the game room, had to broom the game room/garage and bathroom, seems like they only cleaned the bathrooms and the kitchen when we came in. Dusty furniture on bedrooms, carpet not vacuumed. Kitchens oven was dirty inside with a dirty pan, crumbs in the toaster, I was very frustrated. Plus they didn’t provide any cleaning supplies, no windex, no kitchen towels to dry the dishes, only 3 pods for dishwasher and 3 for washer. Had to buy a mop(which I was reimbursed for at least). I submitted a ticket and still waiting for a response. I called VACASA for an update and they said they are still working on my request.Very responsive for all the questions I had. Very unfortunate that the house was not cleaned, because it is a beautiful house. Friends really enjoyed the game room.This had never happened to me before! House needs a deep deep cleaning and pest control since we found a couple of spider webs in the kitchen table and half bathroom

Adequate lodgings, but nothing spectacular

The house was adequate to our needs -- family trip to Six Flags, Seaworld, and other SA sights. There were a lot of little issues though. The kitchen is poorly stocked. For example, the house accommodates eight but only has five dinner plates. The TV situation is awful as well. The TV itself is super old with a terrible picture, there was no cable access, and we had to log into Netflix with our own account. Most short-term rentals have a book or binder with instructions and tips on using the amenities, but this house did not have one. I had to text the property manager to find out how to lock the front door, for example. Again, the house was fine, but nothing close to the best experience we've ever had.

Great House

Loved the space. Loved being close to everything we needed to do. We were there for a Dive Meet and we’re able to shop, eat and compete all within 10 min of the house. It was clean and comfy.

Great home and location!

The neighborhood was great, centrally located to major attractions, and safe! The house was great with only a few issues: hot water was turned off under sink by previous tenant and heat was programed to 90 at 2pm by previous tenant. Could use more towels for the max number of occupants. None of those were major issues though and easily resolved by reaching out to the local property manager

Nice home in safe neighborhoot

This home was clean. The upstairs floors creak VERY loud, if you have any young children or light sleepers, it will wake them. There were few pans to actually cook with, and less than a full set of silverware if you are a big group. Upstairs was hot at night even after opening all the vents that were closed, it was just never the same as downstairs. Two of the bedrooms lack storage with no dressers at all, and one of the closets also being locked. Whoever stays in those rooms is truly living out of their suitcase. There was also a funny smell to one bedroom we noticed. There were TVs in only two bedrooms. There was plenty of toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent, hand soap, and a few travel soaps provided. The TV downstairs works, but with a major blue tint. The doorbell wires were just hanging out of the wall above the stairs. You have to hold the door closed tightly for it to actually lock. There was a large pantry to store groceries. The neighborhood was safe and quiet, lots of shade and kids playing outside. We used the washer, dryer and dishwasher without any problems. The coffee pot seems to be on its last leg, taking nearly 30 minutes to brew (but there is a Starbucks very close!). I booked through VRBO and had been trying to message owner there with no response before our trip, but when I messaged through Vacasa and later through text messaging, they were very responsive. Wish there were more kids items available (toys, books, baby bed, gate for stairs, etc) or activities like cards & board games. Overall, the home was nice, clean and safe.

Overall the house was great…until after the first night sleeping in what we thought were clean bed sheets woke up to find a pair of dirty socks from previous renters. 🤢 So, we had to wash sheets and wonder if the other sheets had really been washed or not.

Goldilocks would say, “It’s just right”

Easy communication. Simple check-in. The home was spotless (high five to the cleaners!). Comfortable for our family of eight. Quiet neighborhood, yet only a few miles away from attractions, shopping and restaurants. If you haven’t tried a La Panaderia Bakery and Cafe, you won’t be disappointed! Home had plenty of soap for dishes + laundry and the smartest drying rack for clothes. Cooler ice packs in the freezer for use. Lots of cozy throw blankets. Hampers were helpful. Wished we had a couple of dish towels and a cookie sheet. Overall, a lovely stay that was “just right.” Thank you!

Not a home away from home

We stayed four nights at this property in Helotes. Overall, our stay was good, but the property was definitely missing those little amenities that would have made it great. PROS: Location was a pretty straight shot to Sea World and downtown. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. very clean comfortable beds and linens higher end appliances comfortable furniture pleasant décor Property manager very responsive and polite though not always able to help (see coffee filter saga below). CONS: Smell. The home smelled like Indian food when we walked in the door (delicious, but unexpected). Come to find out, there is no ventilation system above the stove so whatever you cook indoors the entire home will smell of it for days. We had to open the windows every time we cooked. No coffee filters (hello 7:30 a.m. HEB run!) No seasonings (other than super basic salt/pepper) No condiments (the fridge was bare) Broken ice maker No lids to some of the pots and pans Only one kitchen towel that I had to wash every day There were two bags of trash left in the back yard, covered with ants. The upstairs bathtub doesn't drain No games, cards, toys, nothing. The home was completely bare. Overall we had a comfortable place to sleep after long days exploring San Antonio. It was definitely better than coming back to a hotel room but would have been so much better if we hadn't had to buy basic household goods just for a 4 day vacation. And a working ice maker would have been super helpful.

Pretty good

House was not ready until about 4:30. A minor inconvenience, but one nonetheless. Cleaning agent smell was pretty strong when we got here. Aired out after a day, but if you need fragrance-free, you should know. Plates, cups, pots, pans were all acceptable or quite nice. There were no cookie pans or round baking pans. Mildly inconvenient because there were glass pans available for cooking the cinnamon rolls. Fridge was good. No water plumbed to it, but large and otherwise quite functional. Furnishings were mostly nice. Corner sectional couch was awesome. Twin beds were very squeaky. Just took the frames and put them in a closet. Extra bedding is non-existent, so if you’re not happy with the bedding, there’s nothing to try (other than Walmart). Bathtub would not drain due to hair. Cleared it out myself. Another minor inconvenience, but still. Location for vacationers was good. Close to Seaworld, Fiesta Texas, and Natural Bridge Caverns. Neighborhood was quiet. Overall, I would stay again. For the price, I think a strong 4.25 stars.

Great house.

The seating in the living room was extremely comfortable. The beds were comfortable, as well. The home is minutes away from SeaWorld and even closer to Fiesta Texas, shopping mall, and an abundance of restaurants. I could never figure out how to work the televisions, but we never really missed them. The neighborhood is extremely quiet. Basic amenities like coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, etc. we’re not available, but a grocery store is close by.

Beautiful Clean Home

My family and I stayed here for a few days. The property was very well kept, easy check-in process. During our stay, my toddler broke a table clock and a vase. I reached out to the property manager and let them know and they were very understanding. We were very comfortable during our entire stay and would definitely come back and stay again (hopefully we are invited back - lol)
