"Had a fantastic experience at Hotel Mayola. The staff is friendly and really kind, they made us feel right at home. The breakfast had good variety from focaccias, to scramble eggs, cakes, fruit salads, and everything both an Italian and a British or American person would eat. Room was cleaned everyday to a high standard, the view from the balcony was fantastic and the hotel itself is literally 2 steps from the beach. "This was a last minute booking and my budget was small so my expectations were not very high. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the centre of Sanremo. If, like me, you are unfortunate enough to get a room close to the adjacent petrol station, you might find your room is not dark enough for an undisturbed sleep. The room is basic but clean. My mattress was very hard. The free breakfast is adequate but only one cup of coffee offered! Overall, I am satisfied with my stay."
