"I thought the property was excellent, especially for the value. It was clear that it was an older property, and that it was remodeled, and for that reason I wouldn't give it a perfect score, but I would give it a near perfect score because it was clean, the staff was outstanding, the amenities were more than sufficient, the bed was comfortable, And overall it was a wonderful experience"

"Lovely historic hotel. Front reception staff is friendly and was super helpful with my Spanish being minimal. This is our favorite place to stay in Santo Domingo.Its a luxurious respite in a quiet, historic area you must see. One constructive thing is I think they need to pay more attention to the pool. Several times per day someone should clean the debris from leaves. This is a small thing and 9/10 they get it right."
