However the excellent location of the hotel in the historic centre overlooking the river more than made up for the decor. A pleasant buffet breakfast was included in the price. The location is unbeatable—literally right across the street from the main train station, which made it incredibly easy for us to visit nearby cities during our trip. Just in front of the hotel, we could also catch the bus that took us directly to the city center, where the famous Leaning Tower and Piazza dei Miracoli are located. The staff was very kind and always ready to help with anything we needed. We enjoyed the breakfast—it was simple, good and a perfect way to start each day. Overall, this hotel was a great base for exploring Pisa and the surrounding areas. "
