"1st room we checked into, the A/C didn’t work, after three trips to the desk to complain, and having a maintenance person come out a thermometer in the vent to tell us the A/C was blowing cold air, we were moved to a new room. This room never cooled down either. That night the staff on duty told me they would move us into a new room after checkout time the next day because no rooms were available. The next morning I went to the front desk and the new people on duty told me they couldn’t move me and we just had to deal with it. Later after maintenance verifying the AC indeed didn’t function we were told we had to stay in that room and maybe get moved to a new room on the 3rd day. After going to check on the room the next morning we were told we’d have to clear all our stuff from the room and leave it with the front desk and then maybe be able to check into a new room after 3PM. The toilet also stopped working over night in the second room. We were told multiple time maintenance was coming to look at the AC and they never showed up. Ultimately we ended up just changing our flights and leaving early."

"Make sure you confirm reservation with hotel before you get there, we booked with Expedia and the hotel did not have our reservation and we had to jump through hoops to get it taken care of and we got a room but it wasn’t the one we reserved. "

"The Secrets resort was wonderful. We had a room on the third floor overlooking the beach. The staff went above and beyond to make the stay wonderful. The food at the restaurant was very good, the best of any all inclusive we have every been to. "

"No desk in the room to work from. Wifi speed was extremely low. You get what you pay for as far as food quality and drinks"

"Enjoyed the central location, lovely little courtyard, and nice bath products. Beds are very firm. No hot water for shower. Biggest negative was no secondary locks on the doors. Staff with keys entered my room multiple times without knocking. Most staff were friendly and helpful, but when I discovered 1/2 my shower door was missing and the bathroom flooded, the young woman on staff couldn’t be bothered. I’ve tried not to let those negative experiences overly impact my rating. But seriously, stop barging into rooms unannounced. That’s just crazy."
