Good Place to stay

The location was great. The property was good. It is close to the beach and the grocery store. There is 24/7 security. It is quiet and there is a view of the ocean. The view of the ocean will be gone as a building is being built in front of the property.

A wonderful place to stay

We were impressed by the apartment, size, cleanliness, friendliness, everything was there to spend time confortably. Very nice complex with a good restaurant on site. Dealing with the owner was very easy and friendly. It was one of the highlights of our stay in San José this time.

Comfortable and well-situated

My family of two adults and two kids enjoyed our stay at Larry's place. We found it nice and spacious, the furniture was comfortable, and the air conditioning was more than up to the task of keeping the unit comfortable despite the 90°+ August heat. The photos on the listing give a very accurate impression of the condo but what I didn't gather from the photos is how short the walk would be to both of the delightful pools. The extra pool/beach equipment in the washer/dryer closet also came in very handy. It was an ideal place to stay, as near the ocean as you can be without staying in one of the large resorts, but also an easy 5-minute Uber ride to downtown and a nice 10-minute walk to the large La Comer superstore, which has everything you'll need during your stay, from pineapple and ceviche to sun hats and aloe gel. There's more than enough restaurants within 15 or 20 minutes walking distance, even if you don't want to explore further afield. I have no reservations recommending Larry's place for your trip to Cabo.

The Misiones del San Jose condo was perfect for our family of 3. It is located in a quiet, friendly gated community of many retirees, with 2 pools and beautiful grounds. I loved the view of the ocean! The gate is staffed 24/7. The location is convenient (walkable!) to La Comer (large grocery store) and to the beach (but not a swimmable beach). There are lunches and dinners prepared at the pool by John which was very delicious and fun. You can walk to San Jose del Cabo town and Uber/taxi easily, but we rented a car and there is ample parking. Talk to Geraldo at the Avis kiosk at La Comer, good rates and service. Cabo San Lucas and La Palmilla (swimmable) beach are a half hour away by car. The condo is fully stocked for cooking and you can get 5 gallon water jugs for drinking delivered by the person at the gate. I learned from the neighbor that Misiones is not on the municipal water supply and has a private cistern so the water is fine for washing and drinking at the condo. Beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are stocked. Beach chairs, towels, cooler, umbrellas are provided. WiFi and TV worked great. Larry (the owner) is helpful providing an excellent airport shuttle recommendation (Canada Transfers) and other helpful information. I have to agree with other reviewers, the condo is nicer than the photos. We will definitely rent this condo again!

The owner was very helpful 🙂, nice location, far away from busy Cabo San Lucas. You need car to drive to swimmable ⛱️. The condo has air-conditioning, kitchen, washer and dryer, nice swimming pool, where you can relax, my best wishes to the owner 😀

Really enjoyed our stay - condo is fantastic, has everything you need and is within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, downtown San Jose del Cabo etc. We really enjoyed the pool and sitting out on the balconies enjoying the ocean breezes and watching whales. Everyone we met at this condo complex was very friendly. Definitely recommend this condo!

This is a spacious well located condo with spectacular ocean views. Close to market. Condo is well stocked with kitchen items as well as chairs, coolers and things for the beach. Larry ( the owner) is very responsive and is easy to communicate with.

Fabulous rental

This rental is exactly as listed. The owner, Larry, was wonderful to deal with. He answered all my questions before I booked and continued to be very responsive and accommodating while there. The unti is well appointed from the kitchen to beach chairs, umbrella and cooler. The condo itself is large and has ample space. Location is fantastic with amazing views from the balconies, with 2 of the balconies having views to the ocean. We spent lots of time on the balconies watching the sea as well as whales and jumping fish. Beds were very comfortable. The complex is very clean from the pools to the washrooms. So lovely having the Cantina for meals on certain days. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Place and Alternative to Big $$$$$ Resorts

We stayed at this place because our friends were getting married at the Viceroy across the street. We were able to pay less for an entire week than a single night across the street and the condo was absolutely perfect. It had everything you could possibly need for a great vacation plus more.

Great location with everything you need.

We spent 10 days in Larry’s condo and really enjoyed our time. Great location with in easy walking distance to groceries, restaurants and not a bad walk to the town square or down the beach to Zippers for a few margaritas and watch the surfers. The condo has everything you need to cook for yourself and an additional bonus of Pallapa Johns pool side evening meals Tuesday and Friday nights and Sundays for brunch. Amazing and very reasonable price. The beds are very comfortable and if you need a little down time the tv channels are abundant. Two nice pools too choose from. Pickle ball and tennis. Hopefully we can get to come stay again soon. Sheldon Mc

A comfortable condo in the Baja

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo in the Las Missiones complex near the beach in San Jose del Cabo. The 2 br, 2 bath layout is clean and comfortable, with great views from the 3 balconies, and a well-stocked kitchen. The location is 5 min. from the Mega store (LA Comer), and on the main bus route to downtown. There's a choice of two pools, and the larger one has a cantina where Juan cooks for the residents twice a week at a reasonable charge (and bring your own wine). Great for older couples like us who prefer a quiet location. A great place to relax!

Had a wonderful time. The condo was in a perfect location, 35 min walk to the Town square, 5 min walk to restaurants. The condo is larger than the pictures show. With 3 balconies we had pleanty of privacy when our family came. The Condo is dated inside, tiles chiped, old cabinets. We didn’t mind as the closeness of everything made up for it. Pool is right outside, so very convenient. The beds are very comfortable. Larry was always helpful. The Condo has 4 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas and several coolers, so beaching was easy. The gatekeepers would deliver the big water jugs to your door after you dropped them odd for 35 pesos which was convenient. The condo could do with some casserole dishes though. We would stay here again

Great times in San Jose del Cabo

The place was as described on the website and met all of our expectations. The location was great, less than ten minutes walk from a nice public beach or a small shopping center where we could stock-up on groceries. We felt really safe at the condo and around town. The few condo neighbors we met were great and provided good advices. The two pools allowed us to lounge and relax while our kids were splashing around. The information and advices shared by Larry were accurate and very helpful. We really felt that he was available and ready to assist us anytime, if needed. We highly recommend the condo and plan to go there again.

Great place to stay

We were very impressed with the condo. When we arrived it was exceptionally clean which is very important to me. It is in a great location, very close to the grocery store, beach, and restaurants. The beds were very comfortable and the AC worked great. We had everything we could need to make nice meals and the washer and dryer came in very handy. We had a minor issue with the shower, emailed Larry and it was fixed within the hour! Talk about fantastic service! We had our morning coffee on the deck and looked at the ocean, beautiful! We appreciated the 24 hr security who were all very nice and helpful. We would walk to downtown while my parents would catch the public bus for around 10 pesos each and meet us, it was very easy and convenient. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Great vacation in a cool place

The apartment was very clean and aesthetically pleasing.The location is very impressive with a golf course behind the unit and the ocean across the street. Most memorable Family vacation in this beautiful Condo

We had a great feeling the moment we arrived at the complex. The 24 hour security gave us a feeling of security. Once we entered the condo, we were thirlled to find that it was even better than we had expected and the pictured that we saw. It was spacious and clean and furnished. I stayed here with my son (5 years old), my sister and my nephew ( 12 years old) and it couldnt have been more perfect. There was so much room to spread out. We each had a room that we could enjoy some alone time and each patio was a great place to enjoy the different views. This condo had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. including snorkling equipment, beach chairs and a frisby and even a couple coolers that we took to the beach. The vaulted ceiling are in every room and it really made the space feel so much bigger and airier. The decor was very authentic looking. If I ever get another chance to go back I would definitly book this condo again. The two pools (plus a little kiddie pool) are fantastic. the one that was heated was our favorite. the nice part was having Johns Palapas at the pool. John, Phillip and his their crew made us feel welcomed, served us daily and for a really resonable price. They even made special treats and drinks for the kids. Another thing I would also like to add was the neighbours there were so friendly, the entire Las Missiones community were amazing. They welcome us with open arms and treated us as if we were family. Overall I would say this was the best trip we have every been on and I highly reccomend booking with Larry.

Awesome, convenient place to call home.

This condo was the perfect place for my wife, daughter and myself to spend 8 amazing days in Los Cabos. Larry, the owner, was excellent at communicating and offered great tips for our stay. Everything was smooth and easy and the place was clean and very well equipped. The property as a whole (Las Misiones) showed little to no sign of hurricane damage and the condo was spotless. The kitchen was roomy and well equipped. The decks had amazing views (at times a little noisy from the construction project across the street, but not a big deal and it's only temporary). Beds were comfortable with lots of fans in the condo and good AC (which we didn't use much at all because of the great breezes). Due to construction across the street, accessing the main beach in San Jose del Cabo was tricky but we preferred to drive up the road to Playa Santa Maria or Playa Chileno anyway because they were great for amazing swimming and snorkelling. The pools in the complex were very nice and largely unused. The whole place had a very laid back vibe (unlike the big resorts) and we appreciated being able to do our own thing. Close to groceries and everything you need. Easy walk to the beautiful down town San Jose. A million times better than Cabo. I'd highly recommend this place to you. Thanks Larry. We'll be back.
