Funky vibe but rough around the edges

Positives: This place had a cool laid back vibe. You felt like you were in a jungle in the courtyard. Resident cats were adorable. Hosts were generally welcoming. Nice places to lounge within property. Negatives: All the seating outdoors was filthy. Advertised as a king bed; it was a double. No safe in room for passports etc. The communal kitchen was not well stocked; there was only one fork for example. The first time towels were requested it took 40 minutes. Second time they never arrived. On our last day there the water pump broke but we were not informed. So, we had no water to wash our hands, flush toilet or shower. We attempted to contact the host via the Vrbo app and did not get an answer until the next day.
