"Great views and bird watching. Clean. Nice rural area and secure parking. Nice garden with fruit trees. I had a fresh pomegranate. Great place to see stars. Road and airport noise. Best to keep windows closed at night. Should verify all things are working before renter arrives. I shouldn’t have to fix the door or change the gas for the stove on first use. I was tired and hungry and am not familiar with gas."

"Pros: Aunque en un primer momento el acceso te pueda parecer incómodo , luego se convierte en la magia del lugar, unas vistas de ensueño y un enclave especial. Un sitio con muy buen gusto y mucho trabajo, cuidado al detalle por su gran anfitriona, Hélène, una persona que se entrega al completo para que tú estancia sea un 10 y te sientas como en casa, alguien especial. "The property is fully fitted out as a holiday home. Everything apart from a washing machine. Beautiful garden and vista towards the coast and mountains. Getting to the home is challenging, very steep single track roads some very narrow and off road. Our small hire car found it challenging. Take the wrong route and you can easily get lost. Some routes too steep for my car. Some clear maps would really help. "

"Maria ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin, schnell zu erreichen und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft hat uns gut gefallen, sehr gemütlich…der Gegenentwurf zu den fürchterlichen Bettenburgen unten an der Küste… Wir haben uns sehr über den Willkommensgruß in Form von landestypischen und leckeren Naturalien gefreut. Ein Pool, Außengrill, Waschmaschine und zahlreiche Außensitzplätze sind sehr angenehm. "

"Die unglaubliche Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft von Maria, ihr Obst- und Gemüsegarten, der phantastische Blick über Bananenplantagen auf den Atlantik und nach La Gomera, dazu die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit der Finca machen den Aufenthalt ganz besonders. Die nahegelegenen Küstenstädtchen Alcalá und San Juan sind noch einigermaßen authentisch im Vergleich zu Los Gigantes oder Las Americas. "Wir hatten 2 tolle Ferienwochen auf Teneriffa. Die zentrale Lage im Norden machte es einfach, Tagesausflüge nach Ost, West und zum Teide zu organisieren. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt und während unseres Aufenthaltes vom Vermieter um- und versorgt.Die Unterkunft ist sehr urig und für 2 Personen wunderbar. Der Pool und die Außenanlage sind wie beschrieben und laden zum relaxen ein. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt - wir können zu 100% weiterempfehlen."

Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife

8/10 Good

"The hotel was good, clean, staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very good and rooms were sound proof and with good air conditioning. Pool were clean but small. At times they felt a bit crowded but most of the time were good in June. I imagine that July and August they would be crowder. Amenities like the Club for VIP were expensive €15 per drink! the same as the spa services. The restaurant Suena Chibo served us the worst rump stakes we ever ate at €26 per piece. Do not recommend them. There is a handy mini market in front of the hotel as well as a nice Indian and pizza place and an English style cafe. The hotel facilities are well maintained"

"We've just returned after 9 days at Wyndham Residencies and my wife and I have had a fabulous break. The hotel is excellent with great facilities, clean and the staff were excellent. We loved it so much, we've looked to book for next year. I would say this hotel isn't suitable for everyone as it is located at the top of a steep hill and will be difficult for people who struggle walking, but I can't fault the actual hotel itself."

"This is the third time I’ve stayed here and it just keeps getting better. We had a villa that sleeps 6, which was a double with en-suite, a twin room and a double fold down bed in the living room. I was excellent with a large patio that got the sun all day. The villa had everything you could ask for, cooker, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, hairdryers, ironing board, perfect. The pool area was pretty quiet due to it being the quiet season but it was lovely. The pool bar was fantastic with the Inti steak wrap an absolute winner. (Make sure you order it the day before) The area is perfect for a relaxing holiday with the Golden Bay Chinese restaurant a stand out. Our only disappointment was that Golf Del Sur golf course was close longer than expected, so we never got to play it. Amarilla golf is five minutes away so didn’t spoil the holiday. Every single member of staff that we came across was excellent, they constantly kept in touch via WhatsApp and provided us with excursion suggestions and local events. Look forward to returning."
