I found that the beds were not the comfiest place to sleep on nor was the pillows, but it wasn’t unbearable. The hotel was budget friendly and we don’t expect anything fancy. Nonetheless, my sister and I still found the hotel a good place to stay, especially since it was so close to the Principo Pio station! "One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. Large room, perfect for us and our daughter to share, with a huge stone terrace with sun loungers and table and chairs, looking directly at the mountains. Wonderful horse-riding close by and hiking directly from the parador. Delightful staff in the restaurant and fantastic regional food."

"Excellent location if you like hiking - the mountains and countryside were on the doorstep. Run by an enthusiastic and very genial ornithologist. Slight miscommunication on check in that cost us an extra €20 which was unforeseen and a little annoying but we were happy to pay it. Service from staff was exceptional and the food served in the bar was delicious. TV didn’t work in the bedroom and a fan would have been welcome as it was hot when we stayed. "

"We had a warm welcome from the owner, and the apartment we stayed in was a good size, with a separate bedroom and living/kitchen area. The apartment is above a garage (separate to the rest of the hostel) and below the owners living area.
The kitchen was mostly well equipped, with a microwave, oven, hob, filter coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine, plenty of crockery and pans. However, there is no kettle (we used a pan to boil water on the hob) and it was woefully short on cutlery,...
