The room looks recently renovated and was clean. This is a motel-style hotel (entering from the outside). Our room was facing the back (beach-side) so it was quiet, only the sound of the waves! We spent 6 nights there and it was secluded with a few places to eat nearby and great views on Old San Juan on the other side of the Bay. However, one absolutely needs a car and it was no problem parking at the hotel. The staff was responsive and courteous. We really enjoyed our stay.

Aqua’s staff was exceptional! The private beach and pool were fantastic! We were able to fit our family of 5 in a family room. The only thing we encountered was due to the humidity- the room had a slight scent of mildew. Keeping the fan on in the bathroom and the A/C helped with that. Overall Great Experience!

Staff was courtesy and the room was average the location was a little concerning but then we felt safe the door was a bedroom door lock the hotel gave us a shutttle to the boat totally unexpected the view was amazing the food was amazing no elevator to go upstairs with luggage the elevator takes you to the restaurant but only one person at a time

This a wonderful out of the way hotel. It gets you away from the busy San Juan area. The semi-private beach is the perfect getaway. The bar and grill had great food and amazing service. The owners were very accommodating. They always made sure that we had what we needed. I plan on staying here anytime I visit Puerto Rico. Thank you Dreams Hotel.

There was a strong mold smell, but one night stay it was lovely. Location on beach was beautiful. Uber to property was $35 which was great. Staff was helpful and kind. Fun atmosphere.

Stayed here our first night, booking only a couple hours prior to checking in around 11:30pm. The late night check-in woman was very nice, and the locals bar on the property (but separate from the hotel) was popping off with mostly locals at karaoke. 10/10, would stay again.

The staff here are amazing and the property is beautiful. The only thing is we didn’t get turn down service the entire time and the AC unit blows right on the beds. It made it a struggle to sleep at night. They should rearrange the rooms a little to conform with the AC units. I would probably stay here again but I would get a car

Nice little motel

This motel is in a very residential area but is a decent place. It is undergoing remodeling and is very laid back There is a little beach out the back and a nice little pool. The staff was friendly but there was no real check in person. So we had to go find someone who was working on the property They were accommodating by allowing us to leave our luggage and use their facilities before the 3pm check in. There is a nice little restaurant upstairs but some of the staff did not speak English and definitely didn’t work with any hurriedness but the food was good

A True Hideaway Gem

I normally never write reviews but this place deserved a FULL review! We ended up booking this place for our last two days in PR and it was a last minute decision. We were a little weary as tourists visiting and being kind of far off the resort but wow the views on this place were incredible. It literally felt like a home away from home. We were right off the beach and the customer service was above and beyond! Our room was very clean and accommodated all of our needs including a fridge and microwave. And then on top of that, the sheets and bedding were clean! We were able to walk right behind our room on to the beach and that was honestly one of the best parts not even including the bar and grill that is located at the hotel. The customer service between the front desk and the bar and grill was amazing. They made us feel right at home and even allowed us to go out to the beach after hours though the doors were locked. I don’t have not one complaint honestly. I would recommend this place 20 times over! We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to PR! A true hideaway gem if you are looking to see the true side of Puerto Rico outside of the tourist area!

The restaurant on site was nice. Staff was helpful and kind. Obvious signs of construction with equipment everywhere. Needs a solid brickbwall/ fence on the side across from 101102 103 Because the music is so loud from the business there early morning and all day. This makes the stay not so relaxing. We had no idea about a shuttle to the cruise port. We found out by accident late at night for the next morning and already paid for transportation. This would have been nice to know ahead of time. We also found out it only goes to one port and not both which is not good. Restaurant food and service was excellent. Music was too loud as far as trying to have a conversation. We had to yell the entire time which makes it hard to visit with each other. It seems like you are on a good path with making this a great resort as far as reno. Keep it up.

A true gem for anyone looking to recharge in PR

Aqua by Dreams Hotel is such a true hidden gem of a hotel, and massively under-marketed. We were so pleasantly surprised by the hotel and what the location has to offer. It is fantastic. It is not located in downtown San Juan so its definitely preferable to come by rental car. But the place is just stunning. Its located right at the beach and has private access through a gate. Its a «wild» beach with no amenities but that’s what we prefer because untouched nature is the best. The beach is literally only steps away, and you’ll have it basically to yourself. The hotel also has a pool - which we didn’t even know until we checked in. The pool was clean and modern and our kids loved splashing around. There are a few sun loungers as well. The hotel also a trampoline with my kids were obsessed with! The hotel room was also wonderful. Very clean, spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Traveling with a family, we loved that they offered large rooms with two queen beds and a bunk bed. They cleaned the room daily and changed the towels for fresh ones. The staff were very friendly and welcoming but mostly stayed «in the background». The internet worked great - we had to take a few work calls from the room and had no issues with the connection. There is a restaurant on site that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have live music on the weekends. Down the street, there were a few more very cute local restaurants and bars. 10/10 hotel!

Overall the stay was incredible, the owner and his wife were one text message a way, plus they are always at the property, the staff was very nice. I loved the property, you can enjoy the breeze everywhere, the view was gorgeous, the bar has good variety and the energy at the karaoke at night was on point.
